  2. You would probably love Joint Assault for PSP. Tons of upgrade options within the game itself.
  3. GI Joe 2 Title Currently Unknown Also Jon Chu(director for GI Joe 2), is asking for feedback for what you would like to see in the movie: What Would You Change For GI Joe 2?
  4. I think Thomas Jane would've been a better Duke. Also Viggo Mortensen as Destro. John Travolta as Tomax and Xamot.
  5. Rampage would be cool. As far as Mike Tyson..maybe as IDW's Big Boa(Big Boa was black in IDW's GI Joe COBRA).
  6. It appeals to me because it looks menacing and dangerous. Imagine fighting some VF-11's then you see some Nightmares come out of nowhere, like "WHAT THE %^&*() IS THAT THING?". The D/S head sculpts reek of deadliness too. Overall it looks bad ass. Sure it was not the most powerful once the Blazer arrived, but it was still unique nonetheless. Less of a superheroic silhouette when compare to the Excalibur(s) but more of a "DUDE I AM GOING TO KILL YOU" appearance/1st impression. Hence why a chunky battroid mode on the toy is important to me.
  7. I think I'm over 10 episodes into Macross 7 now, and I have yet to see much of the VF-17T. I doubt Yamato would make one. I think the main reason the D/S models have so much appeal amongst fans is because they are what most of them wanted: straight up military Valkyries with conventional weaponry in lieu of sound energy, et al. You want aural energy and possibly visual kei references plus mouthed Valkyries? Go Fire Bomber. You want hardened steel, sheer brute force, bad assery even in silhouette, and a name that the design evokes in a good way? You go Diamond Force. So far, I keep wanting to see Diamond Force in action more, because I like the design. It stands out well since the VF-11C and Fire Valk have mostly rounded surfaces, then you see these 3 chunky bad asses swoop in to attempt to save the day. VF-17 rules, the D and S models are where the money is at.
  8. I might not play it so please spoil it for me!
  9. Guys, we COULD get a 2 seater Sky Striker XP21F in the future. Discussed(and added a poll) here: Do You Want A 2 Seat Sky Striker XP21F?

  11. Nah, to discuss the F/S in the Fire Valk thread would've derailed the Fire Valk thread, so I made this one...because the F/S Excaliburs rule.

  13. Not a big deal imho. The wing length in battroid mode does not bother me. If doing away with the missle bays means Yamato can focus on making the legs uber strong and shove some ratcheting knee/ankle joints in there, then that, IMHO, is a worthy compromise.
  14. So 1st news, cockpit panels will be tampo printed according to Graham. Gloss finish(which I like). Still think the F will be a sleeper hit and look absolutely gorgeous in all modes. Will Yamato use the smaller wings or longer wings? Both are shown in the VF-19 Master Files book. The longer wings are not as long as the Fire Valkyrie's.
  15. Note to Yamato: ball joints like on the Fire Valk won't work on the VF-17 this badboy needs hard clicking ratchets!
  16. It was initially released with the super and strike parts. Not sure if it was rereleased but the solor VF-1A hikaru was.
  17. Seems to be the most toyetic release by Yamato yet in a good way and it seems that Yamato has nailed the balance between toy and collectible very well. Still tempted to order, but I eagerly look forward to any Excalibur variants in the future, I think the NOTHUNG would be great and of course the Blazer. Still wondering if the designer of this is new to Yamato or has worked for them before. Whomever he is, bravo dude! When Renato compared the Fire Valky to the VF-22S I was amazed/shocked, because. I like the 22 and if the Fire Valk is that much better, that's #$%&*(ing amazing in my book.
