What do game license of the same company that made the anime has anything to do with Yamato?
-
DX Chogokin MQ's closest relative: Bandai SOP Yamato and Bandai SOC GX-38 Irongear. One have electronic light & sound, one can transform. Both come with many moving gun turrets and tiny vehicles. 18000 yen sounds about right for MQ.

Interesting question. One strange difference I found is the red Q-Rau gun colour: Metallic grey in old version: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/graham/q-rau-pics.htm Metallic grey in Yamatio's own site: http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=1241 Metallic gold/bronze in official pics to retailers: http://www.1999.co.jp/image/10079871a2/20/2 , http://www.hobbystock.jp/item/view/HBY-ACF-00001293

1) Make sure CCCP is latest. 2) Make sure the files are not corrupted, although it shouldn't happen if you use BT to download them The CRC32 is in the filename between [ and ]. I use hashtab to check them under windows.

Official Bandai 1/60 Scale DX Toy Thread Ver.2
CF18 replied to Graham's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
The stand will be included with the Michael and Luca set, and they may sell it for other units later. -
First for people who didn't follow the DX thread this is where it started: http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?s=&a...st&p=673457 First, remeber their length in ship mode: SDF-1 : 1210m Macross Quarter : 400m And lets review a few space ship toys from Bandai in recent years: Albion, 305m, ? scale, 4000 yen http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10044499 http://pony-hp.web.infoseek.co.jp/ALBION.htm Ptolemaios, about 260m, 1/400 scale, 12000 yen for 65cm long http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10063150 http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN951007 Space Battleship Yamato, 266M, about 1/800 scale, 19800 yen for 33cm long http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN77588 What I am getting at is: all those toys came with tiny MS or fighters. A large scale MQ can come with a bunch of tiny VF-25 and Destroids. A 1/1000 MQ will be 40cm long, and a bunch of 18mm long VF-25 sounds reasonable. Still there are so few transforming ship ever made it is hard to tell how Bandai will handle it.

So far, all signs (in magazine and in the show) points the other way - general release, not even "limited" like the 1:48 low-vis.

See my old post. http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?show...mp;#entry656183 But it is likely not enough. My old P4 2.1Ghz is a bit slower than your box in speed and those tweak wasn't enough to let it handle high-motion 720p H.264.

http://ga.sbcr.jp/mreport/011411/06.html http://ga.sbcr.jp/mreport/011411/08.html It is a rectangular picture pasted on a black signage, not just random background. -
You can buy the black one. May be they are also releasing the write version. http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVDB-101

Bandai 1/60 DX VF-25 transformable toy thread

Any idea about this mysterious "and NEXT..." image in the DX display? http://blog.hobbystock.jp/report/images/hm0027/099.jpg -
In similar scale, these VF-1 designs can actually transform: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=324421

Bandai 1/72 Scale Macross Frontier Plastic Models
CF18 replied to Graham's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
They already announced one for Gundam 00 and I am glad Macross F is getting similar attention. Looks like at least some part swapping to me, e.g. the chest armour piece would need to be paper thin to sit on top of the original. Even the non-transforming Hasegawa 1/72 VF-0S full armour need part swapping. -
