For some reasons, it seems like the Hikaru's VF-1S will have more tempo printing? Even the "No Steps" are all over the wings.....
Nah they just reused the photo from the original release:

The reissued VF-1D promo photos also has "no step" marking on the wings. Do they have them painted on the actual product?

Wait whats the difference with the DYRL CF vs. TV? is the head slightly different? Is that the only difference? Also do i see a backpack hook on teh Vf-1S hikaru (ala a 1/48 design?).
Head and extra fixed pose hands are different between TV and DYRL versions. Paint job should be like this:
but we are probably not getting that. The hook is on all 1:60v2 VF-1, but unlike 1:48 you don't have to use it.
Edit: The 1:48 CF VF-1A was also missing the black strips, so Yamato is just sticking with their color scheme.

Just got my super pack - surprised to see a full set of stand adapters. Don't have any real trouble with the intake cover, other than they seems to slightly conflict with the fighter mode stand adapter. One of the missile cover like to pop out because the sliding part is a bit too tight.
New review from Gamu-toys, but his site is very very slow.

Shield should be mounted on the underside of the forearm.
No, this is not VF-11 or Nu Gundam.

V1-T (trainier) for 5000 Yen each is a good price???
Sound s like a 1:60v1 instead of 1:60v2. Mandarake know their market and would normally not sell a 1:60v2 VT-1 for so low.

doesn't the 1/72 model kit fast-packs come with the same dull grey crotch piece?
It got stickers for coloring the left and right side.

I have some of the revotech macross stuff on my desk at work, unfortunately people approach my desk and say "oh Robotech how cool". you don't understand how sad that makes me.
That's much better than calling them transformers. One did recognize my 1:55 looks really like his old Jet Fire.

I always wonder how do Zentradi and human/micron live together on Frontier without lots of crushing accidents.
Only valk incident I remember is a shelf dive of my VF-4 - the 1/250 not the future Yamato - and it's left wing is currently hiding somewhere in my room. I recommend gluing the parts of the 1/250 (especially the wave 1) before putting them up.

It is just a material test shot that happen to dark grey on the legs and purple at other places. The leg armor pack will have extra thrusters on them.

So Michael unit will also be a base unit release unlike the previous DX - another round of web order for super and tornado pack later I guess.

Interesting note, but not surprising (though some people around here seemed shocked/disappointed by this on the VF-17.) There are going to be removable covers for the hands on that thing just like every other version of the 17/171.
Another interesting note: The head guns/fins can be hidden in fighter mode, or they came in the box detached and the setup guy forgot to attach them. He also seems to forgot to attach the main gun in fighter mode, and missed a step in G/B mode and leaving those shoulder hinges exposed.

Good news is no mention of any limited release, so it is a general market release at regular 9800yen price.
Bad news is no mention of side covers and B mode seat.
-
i hope they include all the marking and insignia like the movie
One part can be tricky.
The big NUNS text will need to be painted on two separated part of the main shoulder hinge. Hopefully they will be able to do it like this:

1:48 VS 1:60v2:
Con - Much less tempo paints - even the cockpit side kites need stickers. Chicken fingers and only TV version come with extra hands. Slightly worst B mode proportion. GBP is too fat.
Pro - Slightly better fighter mode proportion. Extra gimmicks - antenna on back pack, movable wing flaps and air brake, removable missiles in super and GBP packs.
Edit: one more pro for 1:48 - super/strike pack connected to the back pack using metal bar, more accurate than the big plastic holder on 1:60v2 but also more dangerous since it put a lot of weight on the back pack's hinge and hook.
-
I'm guessing a Ver 2 release with thicker legs! LOL... okay bad joke.
The armors will make the legs thicker, if/when it happens.
-
The head antennas was not shown to resting flush in the line arts, and all the 1/250 VF-171 toys have them sticking out.

He is just trolling, right?

Forget proxy. HLJ had been selling most Yamato web limited items from Fan Racer to 1:2000 SDF-1 to us for no additional cost for a few years already. I don't expect the VF-4 will be any different.

Guys let the computer do that work for you.
Install one of these add-on to your browser:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/update-scanner/
Tell them to scan the store listing page every 15 minutes. When you sleep leave the PC on and make sure they don't go to sleep on idle but you can turn the screen off. Leave the speakers on and tell the tool to play a song when one of the page changes. You will get false positive like when HLJ update the exchange rate.
