  1. Found a shop have these listed for $70.88. Nippon Yasan?

I have some non-Macross items pre-ordered there, but haven't gone through full cycle yet. Pre-oreder at your own risk.

    Alto Custom

    Ozma Custom

Here is another shop I have no experience with for 5800 yen each:

Edit: This one also has a eBay store with similar price: http://stores.ebay.com/biginjap-com

    http://www.anime-export.com/ should sell them too.

Also HLJ or AmiAmi might come up with pre-order with better price later, so it's totally up to you.

No they have no history of carrying any limited items from Bandai's web shop. Only HLJ made special arrangement with Yamato to carry their limited items without extra mark-up.

  2. DX超合金 Macross F VF-25F Messiah(早乙女機) Renewal Ver. + 魂WeB Shop VF-25F用 Tornado Parts

    (1) 先試了安裝Fighter Mode,各位置與Tornado Parts是100%完全配合。

    Can anyone gather more info?

It is someone fitting the Tornado pack made for DXv1 on the DXv2. Some had posted about that here recently, with modding instruction posted here:

  3. So I guess it's basically a "buyer beware" situation if ordering any of the valks known to have the shoulder hinge issues? Unless they somehow inspected each item individually, I feel like it's kind of a bummer to knowingly sell those. I'd love to grab a Hikaru VF-1S, but the words "inevitable" and "cracking" keep preventing me from it. :(

The only Hikaru VF-1S in this sale is the 1:48 re-issue, the 1:60v2s are all VF-1A. My 1:60v2 VF-1S Hikaru from last sale doesn't have shoulder issue, but it has old style crotch lock.

  4. TOY-RBT-1940_05.jpg

I think the proportion looks OK. The only problem I have is the big area of internal white color showing at the knee joints. It may be a miss transform since in all other VF you only extend the knee joints for gerwalk mode, but given the ankle guard location I guess it's not the case. If it has to be this way then please paint that area to the same dark blue. It's a stealth fighter so at least make it looks like one.

  5. Well there is one used copy keep being listed for $300 on eBay, but no taker. It is not gona sold for big $ since the regular version of VF-1S Hikaru and Strike Pack are still in production - even went on sale on HLJ for 40% off around April, and this version only got the packaging and flash light over the regular one.

If it is a low-vis VF-1S, VT-1 or VE-1 then they were being sold for $300+

  6. It depends on how easy it is to transform it, and the space to put it back on.

The 1:55 I have at work used to get transformed once per day since it is easy and strong.

At home only the 1:60v2 VF-1A CF get transformed regularly since it is easy and don't take up much space in any mode. The 1:60v2 VF-1S Strike don't get touched as much since the old crouch lock is a pain. The VF-11B is OK since it is relatively easy. The VF-25S Armored, Sv-51 and YF-21 don't get touched since it is complicated and usually need to fetch the stand adapter from the box. 1:3000 SDF-1 is easy to transform, but it means a major rearrangement of the shelf if it stay in new mode.

  7. Was going by hlj's list price of the Kai which is 22000 yen, 1100 yen less. Didn't realize that yamato's site had a different price as well. Yes there will be a preorder discount for it as well, but still ouch

That is not a price difference. Yamato list their price with 5% sale tax include, since it is legally required in Japan. Export only shop don't charge that tax so they list the real price 22000 yen.
