Finally decided to buy this new dub. I watched the first 3 episodes and so far, it's not as hard as I thought to accustom myself to the new VA. I really like the new footage that I never saw before since I only knew the Robotech version of the original series.

Yup. The gunship was detachable and served as a "gunpod" for Battle7 in attack mode.

If memory serves right, he said his contact was very tired so they discussed the yf-19 and vf-0 problems then eat and drank... a lot.
