All of mine are stickered and displayed.
All are in fighter mode except my TV VF-1J Hikaru which is in battroid mode sporting the GBP-1S.

I agree with kanedaestes about the music. Storywise, Macross is better as it is the original stuff, but since Robotech is an important part of my childhood, in some perverse way, I'll always love it.

From what I understand, no 11, 19 or 21. All new stuff.

Though I'm thrilled to see new VFs, I still would have loved it if the VF-11 had gotten more "hero" time on that new show. Oh well as long as the design is descent, I'll be happy.

god I'm anxious to get that sucker. I hope though that they'll provide undented dorsal fuel tanks for those of us who wish to display the Ghost and VF-0A individually.

Go for it man, I'd really love to see some of the stuff you could come up with.

But could the jet engines still work after being flooded?
Considering the fact that they work in the vaccum of space, one could suppose they would work in water.

Your attention to details is crazy. This will indeed be the best detailed SDF-1 mesh out there.
Keep up the excellent work.

I voted 'All of them'
Isn't that what the 'Variable' is all about?
If I had to choose a fighter based on looks I'd go with the FRX-00 Mave Yukikaze.
If I had to choose a robot based on looks I'd go with the EVA's.
The VF looks great in all modes, that's what makes it special.
Point taken, but to some people one out of the three modes has a little somthing that makes you think : "I like this one better."

Well if memory serves right the VF-0D in Macross Zero could also float. May be it's just a feature on Valkyries.

Wow she just looks fabulous, too bad you can't render her up. I'd love to see the beast in all it's glory.

Are those scans from the Macross II RPG books?
They sure look like it, but maybe he got them from someplace else.
...snip...(I know Kawamori has explained that they're obsolete and no longer made, but I LIKE Destroids! Besides, I don't fully buy the idea of them becoming obsolte.)...snip...I don't buy it either, Destroid are more heavilly armored and pack a lot more firepower than VFs. I like to think destroids are still used for close ship defense.

On the back of the shirt, why not use the upeer half of the yf-21 and use the yf-19 as the other half of the fighter kind of like this

Wow, nice use of a toy to represent the transformation process ending up in a fighting pose. Nice DYRL helmets too.
-
The guy has quite a few really good pieces of customization.

I probably said it in that other thread, but GOD those are ugly paint schemes.

Great work on the updates, I love your web site.

I love the idea, but could it be done in a movie format that would have an ending that would be acceptable to the non-macross initiated movie goer? That is the biggest problem with doing, at least the first try, in the space war I era. There is so much material and so many characters to work with, that I don't think any movie that wasn't about 8 hours long or longer could get it done without pissing off every true fan out there for leaving out their favorite part of the story. I can hear the complaining now. "But that was the best scene in the whole show and they skipped the whole thing! " If someone has an idea on how this type of thing could be avoided and still make the film, I would love to hear it.
I don't think it's something that can be avoided, like the upcoming TF movie, fans will either love it or hate with no middle ground.

I'd love to see a Live action movie set in the DYRL setting telling the story of what happened before the animated movie begins. Something a bit like that DYRL game for PSX and Sega Sturn.

Those are really cool displays you guys have.
-
Well I love the fighter mode, I mostly display my VFs in fighter mode except for the VF-1J which is in battroid mode to fit into the GBP-1S armor.
