What Macross series is the stampeede from? I don't think I've seen it before ...
If memory serves right, it comes from a videogame based on the original Macross series.

Here are some pics of my 1st release YF-19 with the newly bought Fold Booster and Fast Parts.
My pics are not as nice as Otaku Surf's but still...

Here is my humble collection.
TV 1/48 Hikaru's VF-1J with GBP-1S protective system
DYRL 1/48 Hikaru's VF-1S with Strike Parts
Macross Plus 1/60 YF-19 with Forld Booster and Fast Parts
Enjoy

Nice idea.
A stampede valk would indeed be very nice.
-
Those are really great photos.
I hope my wallet will let me buy one someday. As far as 1st release QC problems are a concern, I have yet to suffer from them. My 1st release 1/60 YF-19 is perfect with not stress marks and still very tight. The crooked gunpod was easily fixed so it's not a big issu to me.
Quite a nice engineering feat was accomplished in the SV-51.

1/48 VF-1J Hikaru TV version is my all time favorite.
1/48 VF-1A Angel bird is at the bottom of my list.
Everything else is in between.

Anyone has a link for Sumdumagi's VF-11 heatshield design.
Back to subject, a 1/60 YF-21 would be great to duke it out with my YF-19.
-
true... except for the magic heatshield.
What's with the magic heatshield ? I must be out of it since I don't know why the VF-11 would "use" that.
-
Well I do hope Graham will write an extensive review like he's done with the YF-19.
His review is what sold me the bird in the first place.
-
I agree with Scream Man besides, it's not like those batteries cost an arm and a leg.
I for one got my Fold booster and fast parts yesterday, and I'm really happy with them. The batteries not included don't bother me at all.

Great customization work.
Hope you sell it for a nice price.

Holy smokes it must have taken the guy forever to build that beast.
Excellent display of skills.

I had the same problem with my Fast Pack sticker sheet. Eric suggested using 1000 grain sandpaper to smooth the surface of the plactic so the sticker would adhere better.
-
I can't wait to get myFold booster and Fast Parts, they should be at my place in a week or so.

Nice review jenius. True we don't really learn new stuff about this "completed model", but it was nicely criticized.
-
That is absolutly beautiful.
I can't wait to see it fully finished. Oh! and a video of it transforming too.
Cheers man.

More frames would indeed have benn nice to smooth the animation. Quite a nice bird if you ask me, but I think that the Ivanov paint scheme fall a little bland in the end even if I think it's pretty cool though.

lol thanks for the interest guys
lol Big F, Zentran sized Valks, that's nuts!!!!!!
Well if a typical zentran heights in about 40 ft tall, thats roughly 6 2/3 times taller than a 6ft tall human.
Given that, a zentran sized valk would probably be about 266 2/3 ft tall. a bit too huge if you aske me. Besides, what would the gun pod bun firing thermo nuke shells ?

Great modelling skills example.
I love the DYRL version of the SDF-1.
-
Looking really great. Thanks for sharing the pics. I look forward to getting my Fold Booster and Fast parts.
-
any possible diagrams on where to put some of these on each valk.. i'm a freakn newb at these things =(
Yeah I'd like to see some diagrams too. That way, my YF-19 can look as good as yours with all the markings.
-
That has got to be the best 3d version of the Macross ever.
Great work man.

Thanks for the scans Graham. I can't wait to see more of this.

I really don't like those color scheme at all, but that's just me.
