If it just got out today in China, online retailers will probably be getting it by mid-june. Oh well all the better my wallet is suffering enough as it is.

Very nice pics. Great customization work.

Ah crap! Now I'm not sure which version I'll be getting of the SV-51. Ivanov or Nora? Choices, choices...
-
It's probably just an eye-candy.

Same here, I already own a YF-19, so just a FP + booster for me.

Great news Graham, thanks.

1) Landing gears that should be deploying properly fixed yet?
2) Non-locking Battroid mode's chestplate fixed yet?
3)The tend to get loose thigh pivots for wings on the Battroid mode fixed yet?
Can't just fix some and leave some ya know?
Some is better than none.
Thanks for the update Graham.

Not bad at all. Cheers

Strange, I can't figure out how that truck can turn into that 'bot mode.

Nice "Cobra Manoeuver" like pose.

Nice little review.

That bird is really nice, I really hope to be able to get my hands on one someday when my wife and wallet let me.

at least they listen to us and seem to try and do something about it...thanks Graham for all the input you give them
Yeah thanks for your continuous efforts to make us heard by Yamato. Cheers man.

Not bad Mowe , but the micro missile pods are supposed to be beige or orange if memory serves right.
-
Nice comparison shots Dante74. I'll make sure to get that bird eventually.

Well, the effect is indeed better than expected. Maybe I'll repaint the booster with some kind of grey paint so it matches the FP's color.
-
Maybe Kawamori should sue himself for copyright infringement?
Good one.

I first saw that one months ago, but always funny to see it again.

How so? They look nothing alike
Well they probably used it as an inspiration source. That is if they ever saw that episode and noticed the animation error.

I got my first 1/48 Valk today and I have to say I'm TOTALLY underwhelmed
I've got all the 1/60 Valks and apart from the annoying habit of falling apart when you handle them (which is not really an issue as I only display them) I have to ask why everyone goes banana's over the 1/48's
The 1/48 has the feel and look of a plastic toy and is lighter than a 1/60 even though it's bigger. The fact that the legs don't fall off when you handle it doesn't in my mind justify the rediculous price they sell for. Fortunately I got this one at a good price but I certainly won't be getting anymore.
You may now proceed to stone the heritic
Well you're entitled to your own opinion, but I for one used to own Toynami's MC VF-1S Roy and IMHO Yamato's 1/48 VF-1S is far superior.
I've never seen a 1/60 in person and considered buying some for a long time, but in the end the 1/48 won me over and not a single day goes by that I don't say to myself how good my choice was, but that's just me.

yeah I remember seeing those and thinking it was some kind of animation error... now I wonder if it was done on purpuse or not?
It's propably just an animation error that Yamato took advantage of when designing the stealth paint scheme.

...snip...
Also the street date from the link is...発売日 2007年4月27日 予定
27 Apr... tomorrow!
I bet it'll come out at mid-May or somthing.
-
Well the standalon Ghost look surprisingly good on that VF-0A.
-
Well my GBP-1s IS on Hikaru's TV VF-1J.
The GBP-1S is the only reason I got myself a VF-1J. Otherwise I'd be happy with only my DYRL Hikaru VF-1S with Strike Parts.
