So basically, check if it's a first edition Roy. If it is, then you should probably avoid it for the nose cone issues.

I'm planning on buying Yamato's 1/48 VF-1S, but I'm wondering which version between Roy's or Hikaru's has less flaws?

The color variations are not a bother to me. I just wish to know if Hikaru's version is better than Roy's or vice versa?

Finally got mine from BBTS yesterday. A beautiful piece. The locking in fighter mode is so so... Didn't try gerwalk yet, but Battroid mode is nice, floppy upper chest, but good nonetheless.

Cockpit doesn't close tight nor does the nose lock into position.

Minor flaws IMHO. Very worth the wait.

Very nice sticker sheet. I'm tempted to buy one for my YF-19, but I have a few questions

How does it hold up to Yamato's sticker sheet?

Does it have a longer life span?

I mean will those eventually peel off in a couple of months like Yamato's stickers usually do ?

Well I knew it would be small, but that ridiculously tiny next to a 1/48 VF-1.

You have forgotten the SV-51 Stealth... (Ivanov reissue?)

and maybe some other variants: SV-51 Low Vis, SV-51 dark camo version, .... SV-51 Snow version, etc....

Well the first SV-51 toy IS going to be the black Ivanov variant, so I'd be surprised if they reissued it as "stealth type".

It's a metal bar located on the front of the nose landing gear that attaches to the "shuttle" of an aircraft carrier catapult.

Well, I'll be interested to see hoe it looks in toy form. The SV-51 had a nice fighter mode in the anime, but I'm not very interested in the battroid mode. Well time will tell.

Looks like it won't ship until next Tuesday, as Monday is a holiday and as of now on Friday evening, orders still haven't shipped. Is it too late to upgrade shipping while the order is "processing?"

As long as your order hasn't entered the warehouse you can make modifications to it.

BBTS.com has one for sale, it's been open though.

EDIT: Well it appears the boat didn't sink because, BBTS.com has updated their page with IN STOCK for the YF-19. So I'll finally be getting mine in about 1 week.

Well it's 21:23 and no news from BBTS about the YF-19, I guess I'll have to wait another week or two before maybe getting mine. Maybe I ought to move to Japan ?

Well it's D-Day today for those like me who preordered the YF-19 from BBTS. I really hope they get it today, though I'm not holding my breath on it since their yesterday's newsletter didn't mention anything on the YF-19

If I'm lucky, they'll get their shipment in somewhere this spring.

anyway heres my VF-0S Max. I basically just tooka Citadel Blue paint and repainted a few bits to make it look different. I then gave it a Max Jenius pilot name sticker.

Im after ome numbers in the same scale as the M0 ones, ideally saying 331 on a white background similar to the zeroes. well, and some the size of the tail and leg fin markings with clear or black backgrounds. But whatever...

1/60 YF-19 all the way. It's been my favorite valkyrie for ever since I first saw Macross Plus.

Hopefully I'll gey my YF-19 soon. BBTS announced that they'd be getting their shipment next week January 11th.

Let's hope the next run of both the VF-0A/S and Shin's version will have that problem fixed.

about shoulder joints cracking and breaking, I'd better wait for Shin's version coming out in May. Hopefully It'll be fixed by then.

I hope my YF-19 will be okay and not break up a couple of months from when I get it.
