  1. Some of us are on 256K and are using very outdated, cheap, crappy laptops. -Kyp
  2. Yes, in Battroid, but that's it. ....I honestly wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it turned out that way. -Kyp
  3. Heck, I'm just happy with my single Super/Strike Roy 1S, both cracked shoulders and all. It's still holding up, but probably because I'm conscious of the cracks and am REALLY FREAKIN' careful with it. I'm inbetween jobs again, (Thanks economy!) so I can't afford to get extra shoulders for it at the moment. (I may try using super glue next time I transform it.) I'm looking forward to getting the CF 1-J, just for all the printed on markings. -Kyp
  4. Come on guys, look at it this way : For those of us who can't stand the VF-2SS, it will be one Yamato that we won't have to worry about saving up for and will actually give us a break. -Kyp
  5. Don't like my opinions or the way I word things? The ignore user feature is only a few clicks away. -Kyp
  6. THIS. Until Frontier came out, SDFM was the only series I liked, I couldn't even watch more than 3 episodes of M7 (Or M7 Dynamite) due to all the ludicrous happy personry the series seemed to be chock full of. I watched those episodes hoping it would get better, but I should have known from the first episode that there was no way in hell I was ever gonna like it. In my mind, M7 NEVER HAPPENED. And that part in Frontier where Bobby mentions Basara, is due to him coming to the bridge completely blitzed out of his mind off a combination of 2050's equivalent of Prozac and Jack Daniels. I'm in for any new Macross series that doesn't contain any of the ridiculous horses#it that M7 contained as long as the plot is good and the characters are interesting. -Kyp
  7. THIS. No matter how many times I look at the VF-2SS in fighter mode, I just can't like it. Battroid looks good, but that's it. -Kyp
  8. I don't think they've come out with a revised Roy 1S or any of the other earlier VF-1's that were made before the diameter of the pin was made smaller.... -Kyp
  9. If you're using Firefox, Adblock Plus is your friend. You can either block everything from the photo album in question, or just block the individual over-sized pictures. -Kyp
  10. Wow...I know what Yamato V2 1/60 I WON'T be buying. Nice custom work, honkhet. -Kyp
  11. Bah, that's what pilot name stickers are for, silly. -Kyp
  12. Yes, I actually saw that video....that was really cool. As I recall, the builder actually got a call from The Hoary Froating Head himself after he was shown the video. -Kyp
  13. Thanks for the correction, I hate it when other people don't use proper names, ESPECIALLY me. And Knight26, I DID do a search, kthnx. I was just looking at my three valks sitting here on the desk (1/60 V2 VF-1S, 1/72 VF25S, and 1/60 VF-0S), and started wondering if the VF-1 could actually fly in fighter mode or not. Of the three, I'd be the most surprised if the VF-25 COULDN'T fly... -Kyp
  14. I wasn't sure where to put this, so.... Has anyone here wondered whether or not the VF-1's fighter mode would be aerodynamically stable enough to actually fly in real life? I honestly think it would be impossible without any tail planes, but I think the VF-0 would actually come closer to being able to fly with those huge canards on the bottom of the engine nacelles/legs. Thoughts? -Kyp
  15. Here's a 1/72 Bandai VF-25S Ozma that I recently built...I didn't paint anymore than I had to, and glued it into fighter mode. Other than placing the SMS decals on the vertical stabilizers, I don't plan on doing anything else besides the yellow at the top part that I painted. I'm too lazy, and I think the all black and single yellow stripe at the top goes better with the lower stabilizers anyways. -Kyp
  16. Bandwidth exceeded, fail. -Kyp
  17. Aye, that they are my friend, that they are.... -Kyp
  18. I can't seem to find any .03mm mechanical pencils here in the States, looks like I'll have to use Feebay.... -Kyp
  19. Where can I get a 2B pencil and what size is it, .03mm? -Kyp
  20. Oh yeah, I had almost forgot about that, thanks for reminding me. Master Dex, it is indeed because the plastic is different that you should never use a gundam marker on the V2 1/60 VF-1's. Apparently, any excess won't rub off and will only smear leaving a permanent stain on your Valk. I can tell you from experience however, that you CAN use gundam markers on the 1/60 VF-0S. -Kyp
  21. You mean like this? To be honest, if mine weren't already stickered up and I wasn't afraid to use my GM02 Gundam Marker, I would have panel lined it a long time ago. -Kyp
  22. Here's a VF-0S panel lined with a gundam marker : -Kyp
  23. Pffft....killjoy. -Kyp
  24. ...Am I seeing things, or is EVERY MARKING printed on the VT-1? -Kyp
