  1. Noriko's post pretty much sums up my reasoning for thinking this movie is going to suck. Unless there's one Hell of an explanation for there being two Earths, THAT CLOSE to each other, without each of them colliding with one another, then the plot becomes silly, IMO. You have to have a certain amount of suspension of disbelief, and I don't think I'd be able to do that with this film. -Kyp
  2. Going by the trailer, this movie looks like it's going to suck. -Kyp
  3. I'll be sure to find out where the problem areas are before I even think about transforming mine, though I pretty much plan to keep mine in fighter mode most of the time. -Kyp
  4. *Waits for the "F" variant* -Kyp
  5. I would just want one built like the V2 VF-1's that Yamato put out, so I guess something in between your two choices. -Kyp
  6. Be VERY glad you didn't pick up any of the VF-25's...Bandai is coming out with a version 2, starting with Alto's in October. The improvements to it's appearance make the V1 look like utter crap...which is why I didn't buy them in the first place. -Kyp
  7. It's supposed to be tinted purple, if they made it clear, most everyone would be complaining that it wasn't tinted purple. -Kyp
  8. That...was all I needed to see. *No longer has any worries about fighter mode* I'll take the remaining three, and a cannon fodder, please. (Come on, Bandai, you know you'd sell a crap load of them!) Oh, and a N.U.N.S. version too, while you're at it. -Kyp
  9. Indeed, but in the meantime, I think this version 2 will make a nice place holder. -Kyp
  10. Need better fighter mode pics. -Kyp
  11. That's why I'm glad I got my pre order in at AmiAmi. I just hope that when it comes out, that I don't regret my decision to jump on this. Oh well, I'm pretty sure I can always resell it if I don't like the fighter mode...I've been pretty spoiled by my Ozma 1/72. -Kyp
  12. As long as the head lasers are straight and stay that way, I'm not really concerned one way or another. A matte finish, on the other hand, would be nice, but this is Bandai we're talking about, I'm not about to start holding my breath. I'm pretty sure the only way we're ever going to see that is if/when Yamato finally gets the license. -Kyp
  13. I'm just happy that Bandai is taking the bad feedback seriously enough to make a V2 of the VF-25. -Kyp
  14. You might be right as to their reasoning for this, I'm hoping it won't hurt the look of it in fighter mode, but we need better pics taken of that area like your pictures show to know for sure. *EDIT* Whoo-Hoo!! 1,500th post and now have the "Alaska Base Survivor" title! -Kyp
  15. I'm glad I cancelled my pre order of Ozma's back when it first came out, after I realized the fighter mode's leg engines were going to be sitting way low like that. I feel kinda bad for all of you who invested in those chock full of fails. -Kyp
  16. No, I'm afraid not, I blew up the image to get a better look at it this morning, I'm not wrong. I'm really hoping for more pics of it at different angles to see how it's going to affect the overall look of it in fighter mode. -Kyp
  17. OK, I'm really not liking what they did with the lower wing glove lip there...it shouldn't be in the middle of the black stripe on the engine nacelles in fighter mode. I'm attaching a pic pointing it out for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about. (Look at the fighter mode pics) -Kyp
  18. Which is exactly why I take that "rumor" that those pictures are fake with a whole bottle of salt. If it's going to be ready in October, less than 4 months from NOW, that means they're past waaay past the design phase and have a painted, fully transformable sample which is what we're seeing. If you look at the pictures carefully, especially in fighter mode, you can see that Alto's red markings are hand painted on. -Kyp
  19. We need a larger scan, but from what I can tell, it seems that the wings are now straight. -Kyp
  20. Do you guys seriously think Bandai is going to take a step backwards from the VF-27 and YF-29? -Kyp
  21. I've seen the YF-29, if the same people who did that are doing the VF-25 V2, then I'm not concerned in the least. -Kyp
  22. Mine will be here today. I will start on it immediately, lol. I doubt I'm going to paint the pilot, the 1/72 Ozma pilot was bad enough, IMO. Going to also paint the canopy frame, I have a feeling that's going to be a pain in the ass, though, but it has to be done. I can't stand to leave that unpainted. -Kyp
