  1. Graham tests Yamato's prototype and also gives them feedback from the community since he runs a major macross forum, they allow him to see prototype pictures or the prototype itself with the one condition to keep quiet about it or the Yamato ninjas will get him Yamato decides when to let him post pictures or info or if the pictures are already released by a legit source he will consult Yamato if he can post his pictures, if he doesn't do as he is told, Yamato will cut him off, and we don't want that over here
  2. Quoted for truth! hahaha  maybe I should, but then I'd had to pay you honoraries since you came up with the name....
  3. wow, you really did do a great job on it... kudos...variable kits are a pain but you sure did a great job
  4. hmmm...I'm tempted, maybe I could get this one and revoltech it, hahaha... kidding... the fighter mode actually looks damn sexy sleek... should be fun to build
  5. thanks guys...excuse the lame poses, but I suffer from a terrible disability, I suck at posing my valks and I sorta get scared of going too extreme because it is a model and a bit fragile but in the end it's very sturdy it has fallen a few times and survived, hehehe err....when I get time I'll try making some more dynamic poses and post pics, checking the pose thread to still some ideas, hehe Fly4victory: HERE's the armored VF-11 thread I'm actually thinking or repainting it someday, I think I went overboard with the drybrushing
  6. oh, so that's where the elevator incident happened? I saw it on the news but didn't pay attention to it that's odd, but I thought all Japanese people could react in milisecond invisible to the naked eye and jump 50 feet with no problem scaping with sudden turmoil.... damn, anime lies to me again
  7. almost forgot here's a comparing of all the VF-11 battroid pics I've seen... sorry, no repptu, I think I did pretty ok modding it
  8. OMFG DarkReaper, that GIF is priceless, LOL!! anyway, my contribution to the thread

  14. Here's my finished 1/100 IHP recast VF-11C that I got from Valk009 a long time ago, I decided to joint it with Revoltech joints to make as poseable as it can be, the kit itself was a royal pain the ass to work with since the design by IHP was very weak but I had a lot of fun moding and building it, the built up thread is HERE now, just so you guys can see, here are some comparison pics with what the IHP VF-11C should originally look like here's a wonderfest pic of an original hope Jarrod doesn't mind this, here's a finished pic of his VF-11C and I must say, he did an absolutely amazing job with it well, enough history, on with the pics, hope you guys like
  15. Hey, don't know if this helps but here are some pics of the lineart
  16. well, that looks SOO much better....thanks Graham
  17. ohhhhhhh....so that's what it is for... hahaha, never knew what it was...
  18. heehe...well...Yamato could just tinker a bit with the canopy size to fit the proper 1/60 size pilot and also get more housing for the canopy shield to hide however they're suppose to do it oh man, when will there be pics of this?!
  19. hehe, thanks guys errr...I think the monster will prove too much for my abilities, I don't own any monster model and those things are expensive, maybe in the future when I get a better income and can buy one of those on evilbay to butcher it ok final update remember the broken wing hinge, here it is now, I decided to fix it... here it is, I modded a little plastic wheel I had leftover, drilled a bigger hole, fit, glued, putty and sand now, my Wave 1/100 VF-11 I've used for reference came with 2 decal sheets, I don't know if it was a mistake or it comes like that cause you need 3 gray kites and one sheet only comes with two, I originally wanted to use this decals but noticed they were yellowed, so my went coo coo and decided to paint the eagle on the canopy shield before I hate masking, but what the hell ow yeah... oh yes, the VF-11 is notoriously low on panel lines, I felt it looked a little bland, I was checking my Hasegawa VF-0S reactive armor and noticed it has a bunch of rivets and gives it a much mechanical look so I decided to do it to my vf-11, you can see some of it hmmm....looks like he's a little shy...hiding on the shield...silly valk . . . ok, Valk is done, assembling, waiting for everything to settle in since I had to remod some little parts and repaint, will post finish pics later tonight thanks
  20. looks more like a cheap knock off of the F-22A
  21. incredible!! I hate too the hamster/disabled pose of the pilot... this will come out great!
  22. WOA!!!, super cool custom by your acquaintances, thanks for posting this...
  23. WE NEED PICS NOW!! hahaha, sorry to hear all your misshaps but even the most experienced modeler finds himself with the same problems you describe, hehehe... and there is never enough patience for modeling, hahaha hope this doesn't put you into making more customs or starting to scale model
  24. perfect transformation VF-0? or is it just bad syntaxis by the translation and it refers to the non-scale VF-0S/A battroid they did? hmm...I think I've had just about enough of the VF-1... VF-4
