Man, I'm with everyone else on this thread. This is the only reason I want a 1/48. That scene in DYRL, the color scheme. What else do you need?

Takara has released all of the Hasbro ones within the past 3 years in one form or another. The only improvement Hasbro has done was with (Autobot) Jazz. They gave him tabs on his legs to make his roof more flush with the back windows. That is the only reissue from Hasbro I'd recommend besides Bluestreak which looks closer to his original 1984 version if you care about that. Finally, only the original Hasbro reissues have nostolgia packaging.

Takara. They're roughly the same price plus they have chrome and the missiles aren't neutered. The only reason to get Hasbro are the only one Takara hasn't released into the non exclusive market (Bluestreak, Hoist, Red Alert, etc.) if you're price conscience.

Basically it's Roy's VF-1S from the show (Yellow stripes, black heat shield, etc.) There are minor differences between the DYRL Roy and TV though....

Don Figueroa and Pat Lee are getting credit for the designs. (But I hate Pat Lee's TFs so let's just say Don. ) And chances are slim to none that Hasbro are going to make toys of the WWI designs from what they said at Botcon. But who knows...

Well Roy, they coulda brought him back for HUSH then killed him in the conclusion. But the new costume made me think he was a new villian like that Cyborg Superman.
