Are the top of the torso and the shoulder lights supposed to be blue on Max's? They are white on millia's....

I saw 4 of the AE RX-78's on the shelves at the local target last wednesday. (Waldorf, in southern Maryland) Looked nice. Old school styling. Nothing to get too excited about. I think they had just put them out when I got there, as they were moving quite a few boxes through the isles. No sign of the Gelgoog though....

Here's a nice pic of three of the existing alternators. It'll be nice to see Jazz join the group..... -
Here's a great pic of a painted hound sample. Found it at 52toys.com. No more worries about the head sculpt; looks like G1 Hound. April seems a long ways away...

Now I've got that "Superfriends" background music in my head.

I think Graham feels left out and doesn't know quite how to express his desire to better understand the Transformers mythos.

Prime's head is nice and tight on mine. I've taken it off one or twice, to take a close look at it, but it took quite a bit of force to do so. You might notice there is a metal pin that goes into the "neck" piece that the head snaps onto...(visible in truck mode...) Not sure how far it goes in but it might reinforce that ball on the end of the neck. In any case, it doesn't seem like something that would be scarily easy to break to me. Seems quite sturdy.

coolness. great placement. and they look fairly deep as well. I wonder if Hound will have anything so useful.... Thanks for pointing those out.

scratchbuilt or kitbashed, but homemade works too. I'd be interested to see the location of those holes on top that you mention. Maybe i'll look at tfkenkon.com later and see if i can find a pic that shows it. if I do i'll post it here. ( feel free to beat me to it, anybody... )

The last rumor I saw was that the next MP will be Rodimus Prime. Makes sense given what I know (not much) of the character's following in Japan. Anyone's guess though.

It would be nice if they could add an extra hinge that would let the doors fold down between the car's roof and the rest of the bot. That way he could have a "wingless" bot mode like cartoon Jazz... Edit: Given that most alternator designs will have a remold/repaint as another character, I'm betting this general design will be released as Jazz and one other bot, possibly Cliffjumper. -

As posted on Tformers.com: Here's a pic of a hydrogen-powered demo/prototype rx8 that could make for a kickass Jazz coloration. -
Great movie. Was definately one of my favorites. Kicks Top Gun's ass several times over.

1) Regime Change in U.S. 2) Destruction of all Parking Meters. 3) Confiscation of one donut factory. 4) Elimination of Walmart as a retail business. 5) Creation of a floating city called Watergrave. 6) Founding of MACH 7 MECHARIDES company. 7) Militaristic enforcement of new Anti-Monopoly and Limited Business Scale regulations. Militaristic enforcement of Special Exclusion from new Anti-Monopoly and Limited Business Scale regulations solely to the benefit of the MACH 7 MECHARIDES company. 9) Creation of MACH 7 MECHARIDES subsidiary MACH 7 MECHARIDES FOR KIDS. 10) Get myself a new toaster. You know, a really nice one.

Despite already having the kickass MP Convoy, I'd still like to see an Alternator Prime as well. I wonder if they have plans for optimus in this line? Probably not, but who knows? -

Seems to most resemble Cliffjumper, but it doesn't really seem to be one of our G1 friends. In any case, Go Mazda.
