  1. What happened to its main body section in Battroid, look very stubby to me.
  2. MP OP v3 looking great, Takara putting their A-game on it. Love how people are trying to talk this down as being inferior to MP-10 or non-licenced versions. Proportions are correct, shorter abdomen and arm length ratio to body fits, unlike MP-10 Flush torso/chest section, without the ugly protruding effect No more wheel pouches or weird foot heel Hands are articulated and are correctly centre positioned in the fore-arm, not offset like on MP-10 Overall improved articulation in arms, shoulders, waist, legs and feet

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

It's kind of weird the box has "Full Set Pack" labelling, but the depiction of the YF-19 is in bare bones trim.
  4. That VF-1 kneeling pose looks rough, if only Bandai had gone extra mile with some type of wider knee bend. I am giving Arcadia another six months before they completely pull out from releasing VF-1s. Bandai's feature engineering and price point is the death knell for them.
  5. The best toys are the ones that are desktop compatible, to big and they become to heavy to muck around with, designating them to eventually becoming statues with crazy gimmicks or articulation never to be seen again. Even a 1/48 scale VF-1 is just barely cutting it as a "fiddle with me" desktop toy. So going by those latest images it looks like Bandai won't deliver on double-jointed knees, but on a plus they at least didn't forget the side-covers (although not flip-out). One of my biggest annoyances with the HRM line is the missing side-covers. Plastic trays of endless bits and pieces, but a very defining part for visual appearance is absent...
  6. Hmm... weird, it is an official Netflix trailer, mind you for UK and Ireland. Geo-blocking shenanigans for a trailer... Alternative video:
  7. Looking forward to this and I hope Bandai sets new engineering standards for the VF-1. The waist joint, lateral movement on the hips and ankle pivot are welcomed and pretty much a requirement for a 2018/19 robot toy. At the moment I am hoping Bandai can add to that with T-bar-less transformation, double-jointed knees and possibly flip-out side covers. As for the supposed 1/48 scale, I suppose it is down to Arcadia hogging 1/60 scale licence with premium re-releases. It would be nice to have the VF-1 scale properly with the other DX Valks, but on the flip side I could now potentially have a nice 1/48 display section with Chamber, Layzner, Actic Gear Votoms etc. So generally a welcomed entry from my side, as I think Yamato/Arcadia VF-1s are a bit dated now and I haven't exactly been enamoured with Arcadia's "premium" business practices either.
  8. Gambit is of course a must-buy. But I am a bit miffed that their using the bicep part from Multiple Man again, it looks to big to me. They should have used the upper jacket-arm from Spider Noir. Professor X with hover chair also a must-get, nifty trick with the hovering effect doubling as a sort of stand. Archangel is a cool set. Funny never really had interest in picking this character up before, but now he has sort of wandered in the "want" bracket. Also from some of the display case pictures it looks like Archangel doesn't have the Bucky-Cap feet this time around? Regarding Blink, is it me or has Hasbro made a new cut-out around the elbow-joint to allow for greater articulation? I really hope the BAF is not Beast as some have been speculating, because I don't buy whole waves. I wavered a lot with Apocalypse and then decided against it, because I don't want to end up figures I don't care for. And two questions from my side, what is the story behind that black suited Spider-Man, is it a modern Symbiote Suit? And which character is that "green lantern" thingy in the teaser image supposed to hint at?
  9. Less timeline and more new trailer talk. From the trailer it seems Season 2 will be more upbeat instead of all scheming and broody.
  10. Will put this on my watch list. It is not quite clear to me, is this movie still in the same universe as the previous Godzilla and Kong movie (the whole Monarch thing)?
  11. Doc Ock, DD and Elektra would be definite buys for me. Scarlet Spider is a maybe and the rest I do not care for. Also on the topic of Spider-Man figs, there is going to be a Legends 6 inch version from the new PS4 game and its using the Spidey 2099 buck. Normally I only commit to comic version figures but somehow I want to make an exception for this. I suppose its the costume variant that intrigues me. http://thefwoosh.com/index.php/2018/06/spider-man-legends-series-6-inch-gamerverse-spider-man-pre-order-at-gamestop/
  12. New MP Convoy officially confirmed. http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/06/09/masterpiece-convoy-v3-confirmed-365343 Looks very promising, as far as one can tell from the crude images. I wish Takara would give us an option of a trailer-less and therefore cheaper variant. My MP-10 version has spent its life in the box and highly doubt this new version will get any more usage by me.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

Neat, another Excalivor, thou shall be mine. I guess the fate of this thread has just been determined... thorough tracking of shipping notices.
  14. Not sure what to think of this sequel, but more Universal Century Gundam is always welcomed. GunPla-wise though I am not that enthused about the possibility of even more RX-0 Gundam kits. Anyway here is a short trailer:
  15. I'm in for a new MP Optimus. MP-10 articulation-wise is not that good compared to some of the newer releases and that irks me a lot, especially against Megatron. The main protagonist having the "weaker" toy, never sits well with me. On a side note, it is a bit sad how the (Trans-Fan) collecting community always react to the mention of new versions, revisions or re-releases of popular characters/toys.

    Bandai DX VF-31

I was literally one button cllick away from getting my pre-order done with NY this morning, but then came a dredded pop-up telling me the item is no longer available. Had to revert to CDJapan now, not the cheapest and I still have custom fees to deal with.
  17. Does the Ent-D saucer separate? If yes, please show.
  18. Because great things should never be easily acquirable But seriously, I don't seem to feel the same pain as everyone else. The P-Bandai stuff seem to be readily obtainable (with the normal asking price) for me compared to anything Macross toy related. The only thing I do not like about P-Bandai releases are the non-coloured boxes.
  19. I hope it has a rotating cockpit and somehow integral side covers.
  20. If that is the case, then I think they did good job. Because I hate comic book version gold and red with talon thingies on his back.
