    My order of DX Max at FromJapan fail to deliver. I think there is no way to recover my money, so beware of the risk.

    I have only try to cancel one PO with NY. That was my first ever order with them too. So was quite worry, but I ask politely and they cancel my PO without issue.

    There are so many scammer around it is scary. I have an open case with PalPay about another scammer for USD$249. The case is under review till 31st Oct (such a long time) and I hope they will side with me at the end (bitting my finger nail). How much money did PayPal lose to these a year? Must be a very big number.

    I suspect as much. So was glad that @Lolicon confirm what primer will be the right one. Ok, will get the white Tamiya surface primer. Amazon have the white and clear version.

    The metal looks very glossy, any problem with paint adhesion? Can I just prime with normal Mr. color primer (500?) before the white. Come to think of it, I have mr white primer too, maybe just go straight with that and than semi glass top coat to kill the flat matt of the white primer. Will that works?

    Yup, this sucks, I know. Don't let this spoil our b'day. I am not too worry, on release day or near release day, we will have another chance. Worst case it will be more than the $249 we paid the scumbag. But not something that I would be pulling my hair out about. Trying to stay clam and just enjoy the toy. Max is really nice and I look forward to the next one.

    I have also paid this same seller for a VF-1S DX. Have a case open with PayPal since Sept 26th, so expecting to get a decision from PayPal anytime now (they contact the seller and allow 10days for a response, which I don't think they receive till today). Just open a case at PayPal and escalate immediately then wait for 10days. It is still not a sure thing until I see my money back, but I fully expect PayPal to side with me and refund my money.

    I hold out for months but at the end can't resist the price at AJ. This new interpretation might not be to everyone's liking but the quality is top notch. One complaint about the EVA MB base: the base is a bit too slippery. It will be really nice if it is more rubbery. That will make it a lot easier for me to pose it with just a single feet on the base. I cheated by using the rail on the side.

    It took some time to set this up, but this is a fun toy to pose. Hip joints has no problem.

    I have Unit 02 on PO through a seller in eBay, my experience so far is not good for PO on eBay. I hope this one will come through. Was debating if I am going for both, but I might not be successful on the 02 after all. Will see if I can be lucky after release if that failed. Thanks for sharing about the joint, hopefully mine will be ok too. I am prepared to deal with a loose hip joint if it does come to that. Using Future floor polish and some patient will most likely improve things enough.

    Can't wait to receive mine today (DHL is out for delivery)! Looks really nice from your photo. Some reviewer have shown loose hip joint. Any problem with any joints in your copy?

    My EVA will ship in two weeks, I have no choice but wait eagerly. Just receive shipping notice for my VF-1A, DHL said Friday delivery, but I think Monday is more realistic. Will check out the Medicom EVA.

    You win some you lose some. In the long run, I will be happy just to have one on display, it looks to be bad ass with all the accessories and over the top articulation. Glad you like the HMR Roy, what do you think of the grey compared to other version of Roy? The sickly pale grey sort of put me off, so I am on the fence on if I want to pay a high price for one.

    Thanks to your heads up. Can't wait to get mine. I think a light wash and panel line will do this much good. Maybe some light weathering. The 1/48 GoodSmile version have that from factory, can't wait to receive that too.
