  1. Sorry I think faster than I type, meant pics ie plural

That's alright, I just aggravated when people do that type of thing, don't mind if they use the pics as long as they give credit where they got them from.

Especially since I had to watch the entire M7 series in slo-mo for some of those images.

That and Mr. March spends tons of time doing those color images.

  2. I'd have to say they may be totally different as well the Super Condor has more in common with the unused "Destroid" designs in the area of the legs and overall feel of the mecha, I'm betting it is a non-transformable derivative whipped up by one of the artists. To fill in a gap, although most of the unused designs are awfully missile heavy, except for the Boxer and Tiger that is.

  3. Just two (silly) questions: What is the type of the ships that the 'bugs' in Macross F destroyed, and is Macross Frontier a Megaroad-class ship? I'm not good in identify ships... :p

    1. - Not sure some of us have speculated possibly a Haruna-class or some unknown at this time class.

    2. - A really big New Macross-Class so far.

  4. But are they friends with HG? That's the question... :)

I doubt it, most likely they would be horrified by the crap HG is pulling. But if HG did pull there usuall crap they would also have to deal with Baen Books as well and not some company in a foreign country that could give a crap half the time.

  5. Just started reading John Ringo and Travis S. Taylor's latest book Von Neumann's War, which had a couple of references towards Macross, Southern Cross, and Mospeada, unfortunately it was more of a Robotech reference but I still thought it was pretty cool, maybe I should e-mail them and suggest watching the originals.

I'd probably need to make a new profile for that. Do you have any screen shots of this red VF-17D?

Let see, I'll try to find one, its a red VF-17S, piloted by Manfredo Brando (?) the leader of the Critical Path Corporation.

I'll have to see what I have as well, although I think it's more of a burgundy/maroon than red.

  7. forget the sudden stop, I don't even see how that edge could have managed that pass at those speeds, let alone playing slalom through traffic like that.

A standard Edge probably wouldn't but what self-respecting highly paid homicidal, kidnapping Mercenary drives a stock car anyway, although they could have picked something better like a nice large lincoln or something.

  8. blasphemy! I'll always love shelby mustangs, :p

The movie wasn't that bad, and the '80's were a horrible time for sports cars in general, and maybe if GM had gotten off there asses and started producing the new camaros before now they might have chosen it instead, although I do have to say I've always been a fan of Mustang Based Shelby cars, although the grill of KITT does kinda turn me off.

And complaining about a movie being nothing but a huge car commercial, can we say Transformers. International, Pontiac, Chevy, GMC, Hummer.

  9. Question 1: Are the super armored fastpacks specifically designed for squadron leaders?

Question 2: Why don't we see an explosive decompression on Island 1 when the Bio-mech blasted through the dome? I see a shield system in place before the explosion, but not after!?!

Most likely there is a secondary membrane type of shield in place as well, this sort of thing also happened in Macross 7 as well.

Nice picture. The individual drawings are too small, but I'll save it all for reference. It's a very nice wallpaper.

Not a problem. We don't have much to do anyway. The VF-2SS will be the biggest job to scan for Macross II. Everything else will be just one shot.

    VF5SS

Interesting pictures. What class is the Valhalla?

Sentinel-Class, it's a variable carrier, holds around six VF's, splits in half to launch the VF's and a large arm grabs each VF as it's ready to launch. I've got a bunch of pics I can scan in for it as well.

  11. briscojr84

My mistake. I thought last time we'd spoken about scans I'd asked for the VF-2SS from Macross II but there was a problem. Regardless, we should proceed with a VF-2SS batch of scans and make a proper profile for that mecha.

No loss of a computer with the proper drives for scanner were the problem at that time I believe, and I'll see what I can scan up tomorrow, things have been hectic, first christmas, then new register system and now we have inventory coming up, and I've also had to cover for the furniture manager alot since she's about 7 months pregnant now.

  12. Well the site is now officially the New.UN.Spacy.COM, further updates to the main pages as well other sections will be on going over the next few weeks, slowly but surely unfortunately mostly slowly, but there is one little tid bit of an update,

An update of the Sharon Apple Profile - http://www.new-un-spacy.com/uns/Personnel/...htm#AppleSharon

This is a rough draft, since my polished draft was lost on my other computer and I'm still working on it, and did it at like two in the morning a couple of days ago, I mainly need to work on my grammar a bit  since I was half asleep. Cleaned-Up and Colorized Images were done by Mr. March over at the M3.

    Comments/Criticism welcome.

Howdy stranger! :) I'm glad you had some time to check out the site.

    Morpheus

I have nothing against including Macross II on the M3, it's just the lowest priority of the franchise. I also have no access to Macross II line art and I don't think briscojr84 does anymore either. I'm also very unfamiliar with Macross II. I saw it only once or twice years years ago and didn't like it (thus I don't own it). The near total lack of official statistics for the MII mecha also makes building profiles very hard. It's likely worth doing a proper profile for the VF-2SS (especially because of fan interest). I might do a rudimentary section that just features one b&w drawing of each Macross II mecha and very short profiles, like the VEFR-1 profile but without the stats or text. There's just so little to work with; I think Kawamori put more thought into the official mecha statistics of the Flashback 2012 music video than the creators of Macross II gave for their whole anime :(

Actually I have both all of the RPG books and the main artbook, although it doesn't have everything unfortunately. And I have MII on DVD, so I can snag some screenshots.

  14. Maybe it just technical errors.

I agree of it's importance. It inspired me to start my own scanning project.

The site will be back up soon, well actually it's up now, but Mr. March and I are both working on uploading the old files that were on the site, there will be more distinction between the Overtechnology Guide and the M3 in the future as well as soon as I can get some new banners made for my portion of the site, as for M3, my lips are zipped because I don't need Mr. March coming after me with a portable nail gun ^_^ .

The main reason the site went down was mainly to change the URL and because I had to cancel and then re-up to get a larger package.

Oh and I'll actually be updating the OTG here in the near future, sorry about no update for awhile but one computer went down and I was hoping it would get fixed so I wouldn't have to redo from scratch from those files that had been updated, so sorry for any inconvenience.

    Josh

Is anybody any good at banners and buttons by the way?

  15. The smaller the models the more you can fit on a table and the larger the scale of the battle can be...

This is why there's the Epic game as well.

Oh I know that, I have hard enough time painting the regular size WH40K stuff, considering even with glasses my eye sight has much to be desired
