  1. Hello i m in need of a high resolution scan of the Wave Tomahawk decals sheet. Is somebody able to help me? Thanks.
  2. (not to mention you tried alcohol once and it fogged the canopy, if memory serves) No i never told that... i said that the masking tape glue fogged the canopy and alcohol didn t remove it.
  3. So how coould i remove tamiya clear enamel from styrene if i can t use enamel thinner?
  4. Is tamiya enamel thinner corrosive on styrene?
  5. Thanks for the suggetsion, I already had a problem with the clear canopy joint that crack over time in the yamato's... i did realize it was fault of the clear gloss paint... i wonder what kind of plastic is generally used on clear plastic parts and why is so sensible to some materials... anyway as i put decals on it or paint i need to protect it with clear spray paint, my intention was as i said to protect all clear parts and to spray only the small black painted part of the canopy but that bloody adesive masking tape left some glue on it. Th eproblem is that it was the internal and concave surface of the canopy were sanding with abrasive paper is extremely difficult... Also i wonder if there is a issue with masking tape that sometimes ruins the paint were it s attached.... maybe it expires after some time from the purchase?? P.S. I ve been able to find in hardware store just the 1000P abrasive paper, no way they have finer one.. 12000??? Never known it existed...
  6. Hi. I noticed now that i should have posted this topic in the wanted section... anyway.. Thanks for the suggestion (facial tissue??) in fact this is what happened: i uised the masking film to paint the black staff in the canopy glass but when i removed the film i noticed that it had left some glue on the plastic... nothing worked, i tried alcohol to clean it but nothing. I had the terrihble idea of using a bit of nitro thinking the nitro required some time to corrode the plastic. Instead the nitro corroded it in 1 second, So i used the ultra fine abrasive paper to smooth the surface and then i spraied clear gloss. This is the best result i was able to achieve, the glass was totally matte before the treatment i did.
  7. Guys, is there somebody who has a bandai 1/72 vf1 model kit to trow away? I'd need a canopy glass for my vf1, and a truster of the fast packs, unluchily... Completed mine, but the canopy is ruined and a thruster is missing, dont know why, maybe it fell off or it was missing in the runner This is my work, as you can see the glass is matted.
  8. Yes i saw HLJ don t sell them anymore, but i doubt hasegawa won t reissue them. Anyway for me it s nonsense buying and building such a complex model kit just to fix it in fighter mode.
  9. Where is the point on buying such a model kit if don t want to transform it? There is already the hasegawa for that.
  10. Does anybody know if the plastic quality of this model kits has been improved since they were released years ago? Thanks.
  11. I bought this model kit even if i saw from the official pics that it was not very accurate to TV version. But only after i assembled the pieces and sprayied the primer on them i realised that the design errors were more massive i even thought. Even the DYRL version is full of mistakes: the legs are missing an entire section: the thigh. The section where is the head which rotate during the storm attacker tranformation is too small. I sincerely regret i spent money for this thing...
  12. Having the money doesn t mean you have to waste it! Everything Yamato did recently is insane, the price of the SDF-1 1/2000 got no justifications, neither the price of the battle pod; considering that they sell toys whose plastic cracks without reason even if you don't touch it after paying lot of money....
  13. 100$ for that rag!!!!!!!!I think YAMATO consider Macross fans as chikens to deplume!!! Who's gonna be the chiken??? Poohooppoppopopoooooooooooo iické!!!
  14. Sorry, i noticed it yesterday for the first time, i m not used to check Yamato site every single day of my life...
  15. Guys, look at this http://www.yamato-toys.com/ec/items/detail.php?gid=1523 It's official, YAMATO freaked out, TOTALLY!!! Next move will be a golden valkyrie for 10.000 $, but probably it will arrive broken in some parts, so you will need to buy expensive gold parts by Overdrive. Ohhh, nevermind, you re not obliged to buy it if you don t want to... that's freedom babies!!
  16. I think this toy shows how BAD was the battroid design of the Yamato 1/60 YF-19, proud that i never bought it..
  17. I agree, about that, even about the possibility to buy a stupid overpriced toy for 2000$ that possibly get broken 5 days after it arrives to you, it sounds in line with YAMATO toys quality politic... better buy a flight ticket to go in Japan just to crash that gigantic toy on the heads of YAMATO managers..
  18. Broken right shoulder on mine, transformed just 1 time... grrrrrr
  19. yes, the problem is that i don't know the exact name and numb. of the part, and that the shoulder isn't jointed cause they used glue and not screws on shoulders, so i must change also the part that i panel lined and sprayed with clear....then i fear if the new parts would broke again... did they improve the quality of the parts they send you in replacements????
  20. Hi, i transformed my 1/60 vf1 s roy just 1 time since it arrived to me and yesterday while moving arms to put it in a different pose it got broken!! And now it's loose and can't stay up...ABSURD why yamato didn't make those parts in metal like they did with legs joint??? Anyway where can i find a list of the 1/60 parts????In the 1/48 instructions book that were all parts by numbers but not in the 1/60... how can i do??
  21. Broken!!!Bloody Yamato!!!Now i shluod spend money on replacement parts???This sounds like a cheat to me!!
  22. Hope this won't happen to me...anyway this is the single valkyrie without fastpacks...
