I utilized Nin-Nin-Game for my pre-order and they are still available at this time. They were cheaper than HLJ, too. Here is a link: https://www.nin-nin-game.com/en/moderoid/209702-moderoid-genesis-climber-mospeada-mospeada-vr-052f-stick-model-good-smile-company-.html MB

I have quite a bit in my PW at the moment, but I think I may stick it out till April when the PW hold date expires. Hopefully, we may see a change in tariffs by then. *crosses fingers* MB

Star Wars 50th Anniversary - February 19, 2027
Morgen Black replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Over the past few years, going to the theatre is not the same as it used to be when I was a kid. Now, you go to the theatre and there are adults watching Instagram on their phone through the previews or during the whole movie, people having conversations and taking selfies, and the teenagers throwing food and purposely destroying the theatre. I would rather watch cinema at my house, where I can enjoy the movie in silence and enjoy what the director imagined for the audience. I must be getting old, but common courtesy isn't common anymore. My VF-1S Armored Valk arrived today in excellent condition with no broken parts or two left armor pieces. The color of the armor is fantastic and really pops compared to what I thought it would be out of the box. The box and box sleeve artwork is beautiful, it is definitely worth the price of admission. Is it actually smaller or was the original not fully transformed correctly? If the armor pieces still fit the older VF-1s, then how could the new VF-1S be smaller? Seems a bit fishy MB

Message Boards vs Social Media
Morgen Black replied to Roy Focker's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I am new to this forum and wish I had discovered it sooner. I don't use social media for communication because it just isn't my cup of tea, especially the younger generation and their "Say anything and get away with it" mindset. I remember the days of 1200 baud modems, running a BBS and early forums. I do appreciate the adult conversation on this forum about movies, toys and models. Thank you to all the original members for creating a place of knowledge and insight about a topic of my childhood. Have a great weekend and be safe. MB -

Doh! I got mine from Amazon last July for $205 during one of dips in price. Thanks for the heads up. MB

I am displaying my DX VF-1s in multiple ModuSpace monos, so the footprint is fairly large per shelf. I use the larger arms based on the type of pose that I want, of course it is up to the individual. Here is an example of the large arm on the ArchiPro Stand and this is not near the limit of the stand. MB

@rsvictor1976 The bases are definitely quite stable. I have many other DX VF-1s on Archi Pro stands in much higher angle of banks, but most of them are utilizing the larger arm. The one pictured could be angled much higher and the DX VF-1 would have no problem staying attached to the mount. That specific setup is extremely tame versus what you can do with the Archi Pro stands. MB

As mentioned above, If Bandai wanted to grab attention of fans and collectors it would release a 1/48 TV version of Kakizaki's VF-1A or 1/48 cannon fodder VF-1A. One can only hope. MB
