Are you talking about computer dvd drive? If so, dvd region-free program does the trick. My normal dvd-player can be programmed with a code to region free. It's kinda secret function iirc.

Oh, I guess I mentioned it earlier in this thread, but Jason Becker & Marty Friedman's Cacophony is real shredding madness. And their soloalbums. I dig them a lot.
