  1. @SteveTheFish @Big s The Plamax Bellvine is currently available. Got it in my private warehouse HLJ. Also here is a link to an outstanding brush painted build of it via HJweb https://hjweb.jp/article/2415729/
  2. Since I’m back on a FSS kick, I spent the day prepping the Volks 1:144 V-Siren Neptune. All the pre building went fast and now I’m trying to make some formulas to best match the call outs instead of tracking down some rare/specific colors. Excited to get this one painted. 👍 Also, used ramen containers are great for separating out pieces
  3. The Our Treasure 1:144 SR3 is done. It did come out better than I thought and I can overlook the shoddy paint with dust bits.
  4. Last night I started this HG Sirbine I got for a decent price off of eBay. Wow these Bandai kits are made sooooo well. It’s wild. It’s nice that I can pre-build with no glue so I can work on it around the family and not stink up the place.
  5. @pengbuzzThats some very heavy news. Echoing what Thom said. Just being there for each other in this moment, the silence, the laughter and the tears. All of it. I wish you both the very best! ♥️♥️♥️
  6. Yeah. Blame my best boi for some of the hair, but I love this crazy dingo regardless. Lol
  7. Thanks. Yeah this one needs to be clean and sharp so no washes. Honestly I could have avoided a lot of the dust if I kept my space cleaner. Just me being lazy. Lol Tonight I do a deep clean and probably best to do that between every build moving forward.
  8. So getting this FSS Engage SR3 completed and I find out I had selected the incorrect hand to hold the cannon. Since this is a non articulated kit, the hand was securely glued in place so I had to drill it out and will need to replace it the correct hand. So more priming, painting etc… for such a small piece, but not a big deal. Besides that snafu I just need to add a few decals and call it good enough. The build has been fun, but I really did a sloppy job on keeping the paint clean, dust and lint free which is a let down. Lessons to be learned yet again in this hobby. Excited to make my next build even better. 👍
  9. Almost there. I am absolutely plagued with dust and crap appearing on this builds painted surface. It’s even more evident since it’s going to be so glossy. Total bummer but I’m not going to repaint this. I just want to move it along and make sure to clean the spray booth big time. I have been totally neglecting it. 🥺
  10. More FSS coming together means more ✨✨and gloss. I really enjoy the painting process with layers of transparent with those amazing MR color Crystal colors
  11. Beautiful work!
  12. Very interesting modulation. Is this his signature style? Brush painted?
  13. That would be a fun project case study. I have a few Hasegawa battroid kits in the stash. Maybe I turn one into a fighter? I like this idea. 👍
  14. That looks cool. I’m a sucker for the good old shark mouth on aircraft.
  15. Oh yeah baby! I’m excited to get this primed and painted. Had picked this kit up at a huge discount form Newtype last year. 1/144 Engage SR3 Late Junone FSS
  16. Beautiful work!
  17. Thanks so much. There are plenty of small mold lines that I had overlooked somehow and the gloss makes them more evident. Luckily they are in rather inconspicuous areas. 😓
  18. Thanks. Here’s a couple photos in natural light. Still not as brilliant as in person. ✨
  19. The articulation is good. Knees are double jointed, hips are ball joints, arms and shoulders have plenty of rotation as well as forward back/up and down motion. Feet and ankles are ball joints, skirt armor all move independently except for large rear section. Head is almost complexly static, and waist rotation swivels left to right. Claws on rear of forearms open close and fold to allow for more freedom of movement. This kit has way more articulation than I had expected. Hope that helps?
  20. A quick update on KOG aka “my little buddy” before I hit the hay 💤 I might do one last gloss coat on it after finishing tonight’s final brush painting. I have never been so nervous to paint tiny, tiny details. I didn’t use any of the color correcting decals. I wanted to paint the few color details including this tiny white outline on shoulder “eye” designs. I was stressing but got it done. Not too shabby. My thoughts and feels on this new Volks 1:144 scale KOG Delta Beren is outstanding! It was a treat from Start to finish and can’t wait to do the larger 1:100 scale once I find that Gaia paint. Here’s a few photos taken at the bench. I’ll grab better pics tomorrow with some natural light hoping the gold has more sizzle if that’s a thing. Lol
  21. That’s super generous of you. I will keep that in mind if this doesn’t shake out locally. Also, congrats on the new kit. I’m not familiar with that one, will make sure and look it up. 👍
  22. Those look great! They came with stands too? Rey cool.
  23. Thanks for the tour!
  24. Starting to look like a Motar Head. Now I’m waiting for paint to dry and I need to fiddle more with that scratch build face armor. I haven’t totally committed to it yet. I did reach out to Volks and I might be able to buy a replacement sprue. Just waiting to hear back, but I feel like I could just skip it if the one I made is good enough. I hand painted the red in Vallejo acrylics. I want to put down another gloss coat over it, but read that I should give it 24 hours before I mess with it. Once that’s done I need to do one more layer of brush painting. I guess it’s more like a white enamel panel line outline on the red eye shapes on shoulder armor.
  25. Those look great! Thanks for sharing. 😊
