Well we are trying to figure out a pricing should be similar structure but different price to our Macross Chronicles Yamato 1/48 VF-1A Max TV Ver. sales, but the Weathering requires a little more work than just sending off a post card. First we have to secure the purchases before we can offer anything but we will be trying. Will pm you if we get some.

Aoshima is no longer producing their Legioss refits of the Toynami MPC. I think they have been totally removed from their website under the product line they were released under. I asked them if they would be releasing the Toynami Beta in Japan as the Tread but they say all plans for the release were halted and they were not allowed to discuses it.

The staff is small and they do get tons of email so yeah they will miss some emails, just make sure to check your spam folder too.

Not to mention they also offer FREE parts replacement with in Japan, to make up for any QC issues. If you reside out side of Japan that isn't their fault nor does it make them any more greedy. VOTE NO ON THIS THREAD

That is close to right. If you live in Japan its going to cost about $200 for the valk and domestic shipping plus about $10 for the membership. If you live out side of Japan then no those prices are not correct.

Don't forget the wasted space inside the Yamato box. Open it up remove the insert tray and there is tones of space to pack little things or clothes then box it back up. I usually pack 3 bottles of absinthe padded with t-shirts or socks in the bottom of my Yamoto 1/48 boxes when I go home to visit. Then just make sure the box is in the dead center of your suit case surrounded by other things that are padded or stronger boxes.

I'm grew up in Fontana/Colton I'll be home for Christmas and will be staying at my Moms house in Beaumont which isn't that far from Palm Springs. If there is time while I'm home we can try to meet up. Usually I meet up with MW members over at Franks and Sons when I go home. PM and lets plans something. Wow Pomona which part spent allot of time there too EX girl friends lived there.

To ease your worries the current batch of Ichiban Kuji Code Gease goods have hit all the rental cube shops this week and the C.C. PVC figure is going for $210 the cheapest I've seen it so far is $160 (these cost reflect the falling $ to yen). The packaging is basic and cheap but the figure looks top notch sculpt and paint. I have not been able to get my hands on one so I can't give you an idea of the quality of plastic. So Over-Drive's price is pretty cheap if you ask me.

Maia Sterling MPC and more Alpha pics Even with all the bad QC issues the Aoshima Legioss had the new fixes on the hip joints, front leg covers, and the ratchet gizmo on the rotating thrusters were great improvements, but it looks like they have all been tossed in the trash for the new MPC releases. The Maia shown in the link above is all based on the original MPC alpha, YIKES!!! Also unless it is transformed wrong in fighter mode it looks like the neck hinge is backwards and isn't setting in flush.

I'll be home for Christmas in Southern California from the 18th to the 29th I know it is a busy time for everybody but if possible it would be great to meet up with the locals. If there is something you want me to bring on the plane with me let me know now.

Nandy is a personal friend of Aramaki, and he also knows allot of the original Artmic team. He told me something about the original plot back story of Mospeada. He said it had something to do with police bikes something like that or another I can't remember but it was all prior to the Inbit invading. Apparently there is no early concept art of a non transformable version so Aramaki came up with is design when Nandy's project started. So the proto Mospeada didn't need to have a ride armor function until the first reclaim force attacked that is why it looks more like Yellows ride armor. Aramaki is involved on the project and Nandy got approval from Tatsunoko so if you want to consider it cannon go ahead if you don't then don't. There is a proto mospeada helmet conversation kit available for sale too. Go ahead somebody tell me I don't know what I'm talking about but that is what it is.

Kind of interesting these would be displayed outside of Japan with out any indication of Toynami being involved.

Hedeki Kakinuma told me personally he really wants to do a new Mospeada production, he didn't give any details about what kind of story it would be only that it wouldn't have so much narration. If it wouldn't be possible to do it he said he would write Mospeada novels. He knew about Shadow Chronicles and said if asked he would love to work on that as well if there were more being made. Hedeki Kakinuma was the one who did redesigned Mospeada art in the Hobby Japan issue.

There is a variant Misa in DYRL Uniform, the clipboard is a different color. I've seen Misa in DYRL Uniform go for $300 once about a year ago on ebay and I sold one last year on ebay that went for about $200. The Misa in DYRL Uniform is actually a decent sculpt and worth keeping. Right now in Akihabara there is a place selling the Minmei ones for about 1000 yen if anybody is interested in those pm me.

Banpresto Ichiban KUJI Macross Frontier Site Yesterday Bandai showed some early Ichiban Kuji Premium prototype Frontier goods that will be sold only in convenience stores around Japan. To get the goods you have to buy a 800 yen ticket that you draw from a blind pick box. The ticket will have a letter which lets you know what prize you won. These Frontier goods that are coming are going to be awesome!!!! The prototypes were very rough sculpts so no pictures were allowed.
