    Grabbed a Dynaction Unit 01 from NY a while ago. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

    According to the Chimera’s lore, Nog assisted greatly in her design and at her completion was selected to be captain. No word on ship motto, so when I do up her custom base it’ll be: ”To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.”

    Yup and yup. Just got word my USS Gagarin shipped as well.

    Oh yeah, simple. I must say, although I’m not too impressed with the design, I am impressed with Eaglemoss’ handling of it. Paint is crisp, tampo is aligned and done well, the Bussard collectors are transparent red and the warp grilles are clear blue along with the (huge) main deflector. I need to have a custom base made for this one, though, so I can display it with my Star Trek pride and joy.

    It just occurred to me: who writes this stuff for Chronicle and Great Mechanics? What makes them canon, actually, if Master File is not canon? I thought Newtype was just an anime trade mag, what makes the articles written within canon? Does Kawamori have to okay any of it?

    How much blame did Millard take upon himself for Isamu’s actions? I read somewhere once - I thought - that he got cashiered right after the fallout of the Sharon Apple Incident.

    Mm. That’s about the way I’d see it going too. Isamu is as single-minded about flying the 19 as Basara is about singing.

    My Isamu has really floppy shoulders and the hips needed tightening; so I’d say those improvements at least are needed.

    That. Is. So. Odd. Why a Frontier mecha so long after anything Frontier-related was made?

    Which is so odd. There were several attractive schemes for it, I think, like the VF-27 and the Sv-262. Them going through the work of engineering it, making the molds, and then sitting on it is very un-Bandailike of them.

    Um, maybe? Valk hunting is hard. I was also trying to make a Ghostbusters reference, y’know when Dana was in the firehouse and Egon and Spengler were talking about race memories in the collective unconscious. Three separate people mucking about with Mirage Super Parts at more or less the same time; repressed initiative. Aaand that’s enough internet for today. I’ll take my hat and see myself out, no need to show me the way.
