  1. Here's the cheapest I've found with pay later option and free shipping: https://awesomecollector.com/collections/godzilla/products/voltron-defender-of-the-universe-blitzway-carbotix-series
  2. You have a really good point. yeah.. I kinda do to. My mind (and wallet) is saying no, but my body's saying yes! Me too and I'll take yellow or blue one. I don't care as long as the accessory is a giant shield or missile. I might even buy a yellow AND blue one.
  3. I still find it a bit funny that we get upset over a color swap and head change on anything else other than transformers or Macross. Everything else is a money grab!!
  4. Christ.. another Astraea.. I bet they'll come out with exclusive avalanche/weapons pack for this one as well at the same or higher cost than the figure itself.. Anyone know just how many variants of this thing there are?
  5. Thanks! I moved it to the other side of my display case. It’s still a work in progress.
  6. Happy to have mine arrive today.
  7. I think $600 is low for something with this much diecast and size. It weights 5lbs and is over 14" tall. Combines, includes a stand, painted pilots, light up eyes. I think we're looking at $800 to $999 for this to be honest.
  8. Shouldn't be too long now. I can see a VF-1A as being the next release...
  9. You could also visit anymoon.com. @jenius has a pretty extensive list of toys, release dates, original MSRP, etc that could help you.
  10. I LOVE details like this. It's probably too much to hope that the pilot is painted? At the very least molded in the correct color?
  11. I think there are still a few people here that had a pay later option, paid when the item was expected to arrive, and still didn't receive their item. Good luck to you and please let us know how it turns out.
  12. Hey, How do you post BIG pictures like this? Every time I add an image it's small. In other news.. Jesus Christ look at how much crap you can put on an a Strike Gundam. What is this? Perfect Strike Plus?
  13. It's a DF30 from Moducase which is essentially 24"x24"x12". I don't think it's deep enough to support the 2x Fin Funnel stand behind it and it Might be a tight fit for 2x Londo Bell Sets. You can get one customized for you with dimensions that you want as they're very flexible. The biggest issue with Moducase is the wait time. Due to the pandemic it took over 1 year from purchase to delivery. I have ordered more cases and delivery was only slightly better at 10 months. There are other options you can go with that I'm sure will deliver sooner if this is all you plan on displaying in a case.
  14. @slaginpitTo each there own I suppose. I'm happy with my purchase and I'd do it again in a heartbeat if given the same choice today. If that makes me a city idiot in your eyes then so be it. Collecting toys has never made financial sense, nor is choosing a Mercedes over a Honda Civic. A grocery bag has virtually the same function as a Lois Vuitton Purse, A Casio watch tells the same time as a Rolex, etc etc. You're absolutely right from your perspective, world, and financial viewpoint, for your personal situation and taste. For me, I enjoyed the rivalry between Char and Amuro from their first encounter with each other in a Zaku II/RX-78 in the original Gundam Series to the end/finale with the Sazabi/Nu in Char's Counter Attack. We have representations of these mechs in 1/144 and 1/100 but not too much in the 1/60 or higher scale that I prefer. @carlsylarNice Zeta! I hope they come out with a Metal build or GFMMC of this in 1/100 scale. Preferably without transformation gimmick.
  15. I'm not in the business of scalping as I collect for personal enjoyment. If I were, then maybe I'd keep everything MISB and purchase more than one. However, I'll bite and include all the factors you suggest. If I were to resell, I think I could get double the price I paid for each fin funnel set ($500 each vs total) and maybe upwards of $1500 or more for an opened/used Nu Gundam Metal Structure. This might be out of the price range you would be willing to pay but price isn't a factor for others. A quick glance on eBay would suggest I'm low balling my theoretical asking price as well. If only I had purchased two. One to display and one to sell MISB. The MISB set would have easily covered the cost of both and I would essentially be left with a 'free' Gundam. I can kindof see your perspective when I think about the 1/144 scale Gundam made out of Titanium that Bandai sold recently. While this isn't something I would purchase personally, someone out there would. Good for them if they have the financial means to do so. Still looking forward to that Sazabi Metal Structure.. Even if the price is $1500 MSRP.
  16. Ouch. Ok. While I don’t disagree with your assessment the character and mech holds value for me at a scale I’ve always wanted with a materials and finish I could never get of it were a model kit. MoShow does make an impressive figure but it holds no value for me. Even if it is under $200.
  17. Kits 70 and 71 show how the leg will move to attach the strike pieces. I really do hope they come out with a super/strike set that teased on the first issue but we’ll see if it actually happens.
  18. That 20% off discount coupon good for the entire 2021 and no purchase limits was pretty good in my opinion. I bought a Premium Finish as well as other big ticket items with it and all I had to do to get it was buy a $12 pen and ship it. Worth it.
