    As I stated earlier, the fact that I don't like the series doesn't hinder me from liking Kawamoris' mecha designs, to be more precise, his Valks. I would just like to see the Valks in a different setting, Maybe along the lines of the red spectacles, kerberos style of drama in it, not just the pop music love triangles that are the usual Macross series.

    I'll probably get chased with torches after this, but, screw it. I personally never liked any of the Macross series, found them cheesy and always cringed at the singing Idols scenes. I have quite a few Yamato/Arcadia/Bandai VF's but only because I love their design, Looking at them in jet mode, You can tell that theres' more to them then just a plain fighter jet..but back on topic. I think it'd be awesome if they came up with a new series but with a much darker plot and undertone like , for example, I don't like starwars either, but when I watched rogue one it hit me in all the right places and I cried at the end, I screamed with hapiness when when the rebels kicked a$$ at the expense of offing themselves for a greater cause.....I mean, give it a more proper "Adult " vibe. I don't expect everyone to agree with with Me, but if they took that route, I'd be all over it.

    Maybe somebody could contact showzstore and ask them if they can make valks in other colors Purple, green, yellow, etc. I'm not particularly crazy of canon correct valks, I just like their design in general. But in other colors, I think they would do well. Just my 2 cents

    Arcadia should have a "build Your Valk" section on their page, like nikeid. You could even choose the color of the plastic.....imagine... Skittles Valks! Taste the rainbow !!

    Does anyone that owns one of these notice if the outer wing (the part that folds down)is easily/ possible to remove from the hinge? I never liked the forward swept look much on this bird, and would only get one to operate on

    Does anyone have a rough estimate of how much this kit weighs without runners? I would plan on shipping it to a hotel, remove all parts from the runners and stow it in a suitcase to take back home. That way customs won't give me a hard time...

    Xigfrid has an excelent review on the strike pack set a page back, with pics and a thorough inspection. In my case, I think that for this price, it's a pretty good deal.

    Glad someone here got a great deal on an original VF-1S last week for $75......lucky whoever that was !!!

    Just purchased a ssp set off showZstore. At 72.99 shipped, not exactly cheap, but preferred to try one out, and if it looks good, will complete the rest of the VFs' that need them.

    Could be the light through the plastic giving that effect. Is that the KO VF-1s ?
