  1. Do you have enough Shanix to get a real Draken @seti88 and put it in your hanger? If you're willing to get the 1/72 model kit and try the paint scheme in it, kudos for doing it. If you have the patient to try it on the 1/60 offering, then go for it.

The only HMR valks that has a stand are the VF-1J (M&M), VF-1S Messer, and the DYRL Strike Roy (If you did the pre-order or the other option is to see if the stand is up for grabs) to the best of my knowledge. You could get the Stage Act 5 stands through your local going hobby shop that sells them.
  3. I think that the SV-262 will get more appeal during the movie run and boost up sales. If not, then Bandai will have to do some heavy thinking afterwards.
  4. Arcadia valks are not too usually budget friendly to say the least (as they can go for a hefty sum after MRSP). I managed to get an Arcadia VF-1S DYRL Roy at a slight discount as it was used within my budget of around $200 CND and can pay a bit more if there's another valk that catches my attention (beyond $250 CND is my limit). You can actually get pretty good deals if you know where to look.

HMR VE-1 arrived yesterday from AmiAmi (not too picky about the slightly damaged box as I'm not a MISB type of person as the actual listing says it was pre-owned). Still in the hunt for the HMR VF-1J with GBP and may get the Ostrich down the road.
  6. I was actually expecting some resin copies of Ivanov's version; however we ended up getting the poster version from two years ago. This reminds me of a 3rd party TF company (who is well known to make stellar products) in which shows a few renders for the pubic, goes silent after the show and months later the product shows up on the shelf.. I think that Arcadia has enough on their plates as it is (in regards to the premium finish Valks and the SDF-1 as their focusing on that more). For myself, I rather let Arcadia focus on the Premium finish stuff first and then tackle the SV-51 afterwards. I rather have a well built product then have one riddled with multiple flaws and QC issues upon getting a copy.
  7. I knew that it came out as an 1/72 model kit (which was posted by myself with a pic from Amiami with the Ishta awhile back), however I have not seen Bandai do one in Roid's colour in 1/60 scale yet. Would like to get Keith's and the add-ons (if possible), if not, then I would like to get Roid's version with the add-ons then.
  8. Thanks to @no3Ljmfor his post on the VF-31 thread, I played a little game of "I spy with my Eyes".. Low and behold the Elvis Draken (shown underneath the arrow in which I drew)! Hopefully that Bandai does decide to make this.. Edit: Changed pic for clarity.

Your order of the HMR VE-1 should be arriving soon @Roy Focker. I ordered the last copy of the HMR VF-2ss from Manda on the last weekend of January, made the payment on the same day and chose Eco Sal for shipment. Was ready for shipment as of the 30th, mailed on the 5th and just arrived at my doorstep 20 mins ago.. However, I got nabbed at Canada Post Customs at YVR for $26.60. As the quote goes: "You can't win them all"

I meant to say re-lease of the Elintseeker (with tweeks if needed). Premium Finish format will definitely will take a beating to my wallet and my budget!

Wishful thinking here folks: Since that the HMR VE-1 has been released, do you think that Arcadia will produce their version of the Elintseeker (after all, they're redesigning the SV-51)?
  12. Since that these last few postings are about Star Trek stuff, I've been thinking about getting the Diamond Select Klingon Bird of Prey thanks to you guys. Regardless I'm also into the Star Trek and Star Wars lore (more into the latter). Just a thought: Has Eaglemoss dug themselves "Deeper in the Grave" (so to speak) in the in regards to their products in QC issues? I know that its a hit and a miss in the stuff that they issue out, it seems that most of their customer base clientele has received their products with glaring issues. Not to derail the thread even more, I've been collecting 3rd party Transformer items and various companies have issued corrected parts/items in regards to their previous products after hearing reviews. * Note: I'm not just picking on Eaglemoss or Takara/Tomy (in regards to Masterpiece TFs) as an example, it's just when you have any company that's producing items and you get a flawed one, you're going to get more backlash if something goes wrong (or as they all say: YMMV [Your mileage may vary]). If this write up in not appropriate to this tread, please notify me and I'll remove this post.

I have a copy of the HMR VF-2ss on the way from Manda, while the Trident stages are sold out (except for the blue base version that is on discount on AmiAmi); I was thinking about using the Bandai Action Base 4/5 Clear (as I have the Tamashii Stage Act 5 attachments). Are there any objections in using this format? Looks like the HMR VE-1 is getting snapped up quickly these days.. Hopefully that there's more for the rest of us that wants one copy after missing the pre-order deadline.
  14. Given that the Ba variant of the 262 will be used more in conjunction with the Keith's, will the Elvis version be like the 171EX Maruyama (with the Lil' Drakens packed box) as an TWE and the Ba variant as the cannon fodder? Still aiming to get Keith's version with the Lil'Drakens add-ons regardless (if I don't jump the gun and pre-order an 1:6 scale figure or SOC Chogokin Dragon Caesar first and break the back at the same time)..
  15. Well... The first NCC-1701 was a bit bland as the franchise got started in the '60s as the special effects was no way near to the standards of now. The Constitution class Enterprise was the forerunner for the other ships in the Star Fleet lineup.
  16. Since Delta Platoon has gotten hand of two stray Lil'Drakens (possibly that Reina has reprogrammed them) for Messer's use on his 31F valk in the trailers, I'm sure that Reina has also reprogrammed the Draken that they acquired for Mirage's use. I'm sure that a beacon is used so that Mirage doesn't get shot down by friendly fire upon battle. Note: Don't forget that the flight program/codes from Messer's 31F was uploaded into Hayate's 31J Kei during the latter parts of the series.
  17. Hmm.. The Eaglemoss Shenzhou caught me eye (and no I have not seen any of the Discovery episodes even if I wanted to). Just a thought: I wonder if the Borg Collective will make a re-appearance in this series as TNG, Voyager and Enterprise had them in various episodes (more in TNG and Voyager). Did the writers/directors in Star Trek purposely name the ship after a place in China of the said name? As for the Quantum Slipstream warp drive as @Loliconmentioned, make sure that don't you kill yourself in the process when warping into subspace folds.. Edit: Added more detail from original post.
  18. And now you're on the waiting list as for 3pm Pacific Standard Time.. NY has a good clearance sale on something that I wanted to get (not Macross related), however I don't really want to see them pull another stunt on me in regards their S+H crap..
  19. @spanner: The Voyager episode titled: "Hope and Fear" with USS Dauntless had a slipstream warp drive capability maybe of use to you. So in short, Captain Ezri Dax (from her humble beginnings from DS9) as has the first Federation ship that has a Quantum slipstream warp drive capability. When I hear Quantum Slipstream drive, my mind goes back to the old T.V. show: Quantum Leap in where Scott Bakula had to go back in history and correct historical errors in the timeline (this way before he was cast as Captain Archer for the Enterprise NX-01 series).

Is Bandai making up for the tiny Macross kites so they have to make a large one for the Elintseeker so that the Meltron/Zeltron forces can shoot them down first? I admit that the battroid mode looks weird on the VE-1, however the gerwalk version makes it more interesting. Waiting for the VF-2ss to be delivered from Manda so I can fiddle with it upon arrival (shipped via SAL last week).
  21. @orindlt: Correction there. It's not Samurai Maul that you quoted, its Sohei (Monk) Maul. Honestly, Maul looks like an Oni as pictured. Got this Thursday morning from Jungle (used) and aiming for the 171EX. Debating if I want to per-order the SOC Dragon Caesar or not (I have a soft spot for kaiju(s) all thanks to the Gojra franchise). Edit: Corrected and clarified.

@Gundam@EFSF: Your pics of the Elintseeker is also distorted in my phone as well (like Stretch Armstrong when you pull him upwards and downwards at the same time), however when you put it on landscape mode, it looks normal (I'm using a Samsung Galaxy J3 and I take it that other members use the iPhone, LG, Nexus, One plus, et all). This looks like an interesting puzzle to solve.. Edit: I get portrait and landscape mixed up. Two different terms, like regular or legal sized paper..
  23. Hmm.. If the VF-1J with the GBP gets made, count me in.
  24. I don't even have any DB Figuarts in my collection (mostly Kamen Riders), however I may actually get this. That's an interesting colour for Sheryl Nome, I wonder why that they didn't use either the Red or Blue as per the Megahouse version.

You guys are total enablers!! Just ordered the last Hi-Metal R VF-2SS from Manda (after much debate), passed the VF-1J with the GBP as I need to re-coupe my funds for the Elintseeker that I want to get. Arriving in two weeks time when I get confirmation when its has been shipped.
