That's an all star list of must haves.

Referring to myself, not you, with the fool comment. I have a checklist that I am slowly working down, and it would be helpful to know what Bandai will fulfil. For example if I know no HMR Regult Scout is coming then I can stop holding off on getting the Regult Scout kit.

But is it a question of when rather than if? Waiting patiently for something that's coming is fine, but no-one wants to wait like a fool for nothing. Just wish we knew if they actually plan to release more SDFM Zentraedi stuff at some point.

Other than the DYRL Nousjadeul-Ger have they even teased the other Zentraedi mecha yet?

Finally something on my checklist. When is this available?
  6. Not sure if it fits here, but is there any technical description of how the Nupetiet-Vergnitz's main cannon works? By this I don't mean the principle of the beam, but how the weapon itself functions and what the effects on the entire ship during the process of powering up and firing are.

Very efficient and economical response dude. I just wish there was an alert function on MW or something. I don't want to miss an exciting Zentraedi release, if we ever get another one.

Is there any news on upcoming non-Valkyrie Macross HMRs? Or the VF2SS Nex?

This looks great. Any plans to do a Zentraedi hangar diorama as well?
  10. Its a really nice little kit. Built it while listening to the Dr.Strange radio drama and a little X-Minus One.
  11. No. Its the prefinished version. So did I. Back then my Visitor Shocktroopers were Action Force Mutons, and my Skyfighters were styrofoam Hamburger boxes. I just wish there were Hot Toys V troopers.
  12. Bandai's 1/144 AT-AT. Ok technically its a kit but it doesnt require glue or paint (some weathering if you like mb), and once (easily) completed its fully articulated so ...hey its a toy.

More than just Valkyries because that would be boring. Also pods, power armour and armoured giants. Although we certainly don't get enough of those. (Seriously I think this Macross vs Robotech schlep is both childish and tedious. If either provides a quality mecha I want I'm not going to be looking at the label.)

Ended up getting the hero SDFM valks for pretty much the same reason. But the Regults also look good next to TIES, Gurabs, skyfighters etc. But I'm not really interested in the UNSpacy so while I wait for another Zentraedi release I've been getting some Marvel stuff. (Icebreaker Designs have released an awesome full size 1/6 Ronan the Accuser (comic version) statue.)

I just hope they don't abandon the line and we end up with dashed hopes like the oysters in Lewis Carroll's The Walrus and the Carpenter. "It seems a shame,' the Walrus said, To play them such a trick, After we've brought them out so far, And made them trot so quick!"

That release ratio clearly does not favour Zentraedi mecha fans.
  17. Yes really, done properly an articulated Bioroid could be a gem. http://hobbycom.jp/upimages/view/photo_sub_image/172801/fullsize The gun always reminded me of a yoy-yo crossed with the old retractable extension cord my dad used to have. Sad if gimmicks are required due to short attention spans. Uh, are we looking at the same comic industry? It seems that they are totally incapable of maintaining the status quo from where I am standing. But then again you are talking to the guy who expects Powerman to still have that Afro. That it is. Of course I could say the same thing about your not liking the Bioroid, or the Invid/Inbit. Its clearly a matter of personal preference. You have Rugby in the US? It is. Granted. Just about all the aliens/their stuff in media are just variations of humans/their stuff because we cant really relate to something REALLY ALIEN. Exotic then. They are supposed to be aliens from an alien culture, how can they be "dated"? What period of human history were humans using Zentraedi stuff? Could someone say "That Zentraedi helmet looks like the one your grand father used to wear in the 20's.", or "That Regult is sooo 1870."? My only gripe there is that both the Zentraedi soldier and his armour look like they've been dipped in green dye. I miss the old lavender and purple armour with verdant green visor. Simply for aesthetic reasons. Not sure how that is relevant to my tastes. Yes. I missed it though. I would have loved to see the Bioroids again but don't know if they would have been featured, or if featured, whether they would have stayed true to the original designs. Don't know. It always reminds me of Manthing from some reason, who himself reminds me of an elephant. I wonder if some of these designs aren't deliberately intended to evoke subconscious connotations.
  18. Given this post are you aware of this upcoming project I am proposing for Cap? http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/45456-roil-tiluvo-bioroid-assault-craft-model/ I might go for Bioroids later if this is successful.
