  1. The SV-51 to incorporate Nuclear Fusion engines comporable to that of the VF-19S along with arm lasers like the YF-21 and pin-point barrier system like the YF-21...do you think that it would be comporable to AVF like the VF-19/VF-22S?

I think that if given a Modern Macross revamp, this plane could very well be a force to be reckoned with in the Macross Universe. I think with its maneuverability, 3-D Thrust Vectoring it could really be a awesome mech.

I dont know, color me weird, but I really like the design of the SV-51 and think that it could be something that could be carried to any era of Macross.

    What do you think.

  2. Arent they able to manufacture their own ships? One of the ships on the website, if you click on it says that it is able to make more vipers and spare parts for vipers. So as long as they have the raw materials, they are all set for vipers, it is just pilots that they need.

  3. You touched on something that I subconciously realized, is this going to be Christian/Catholic worshipers(Cylons) vs. those of the grecko following?

While I dont want to get into a religious debate, I think that BattleStar Galactica does have this common thread throughout its story.

  4. No prob, but for the best in sub quality, you may have to download from a fansubber. The sound quality is better in DVD form, unless you have one of those uber sound cards with 7.1 surround or some such.

    You can try bit-torrent files

    anbu files

This link only has 1,2,5 so you will have to find 3 and 4

of course you will have to have a bit-torrent client and then also something to play it with, I would suggest K-Lite with the BSPlayer.

  5. While I am happy that we are getting the VF-0S, I would rather it be of the 1/60 size, but beggars cant be choosers, or something. I agree that the size is definately an issue, but I could counter that with the Gi Joe Skystriker or Fortress Maximus, I dont think that these toys were American exclusives, but I definately understand what you are saying. So, I guess that I will take my 1/100 Yamato VF-0S and possible VF-0A and like it.

  6. What is the best place and cheapest price that people are pre-ordering for the United States release of the PSP?

I am just wondering because the two places that I looked have you paying 400-500 for a console, memory stick and like 5 games with all this other stuff that I dont want. I just want the basic system, a memory card and like 1 game.

    Thanks for any info,

  7. So, do we have confirmation that Yamato is going to do the VF-0S and VF-0A? I thought it was only goong to be the VF-0S in Fall '05, but I read somewhere else that they are also planning the VF-0A. Can anyone confirm that?

  8. Just got the 5th DVD from Kevin at Valkyrie-Exchange(Thanks) and the little bit at the end with the voice actors/actresses...I am trying to figure out who they are....from left to right, here is what I think.

Aries, Moa, Sara, Shin but I could be wrong considering it is not in good sound quality that the rest of the disk is. Judging from the voices, that is my guess. Also, what are they talking about? Their experience doing the voices for MAcross Zero?

Well, let me know what you think.

  9. Okay JsArclight, I know you are a real big fan of the AR-15, so let me ask you. What would you call the best AR-15 rifle in terms of quality and cost? I like the fact that the .223 is so light and the rifles are lighter than a .308 rifle.

I have looked at Colt, Bushmaster and Armalite.....who is best? Who is the most cost effective?

  10. For a .308 rifle, I have been looking at a STG58 offered by DS Arms or there is always the old stand by of the M1A offered by Springfield Armory both of which have been proven battle rifles. I had a HK-91 clone offered by Century Arms which was a nice weapon to shoot, but I didn't like the looks or feel of the aluminum receiver, but that is just a personal preference thing to me...the weapon was very nice to shoot and had little recoil and was a snap to take apart and clean. The receiver came with an intergrated weaver rail and is now selling for only $500 or so, and the 20rd clips are so cheap it makes buying 30-40 of them very inticing.

I guess that it just comes down to what your personal preference is, but if I had the cash right now, I would go for the DSArms STG58 FN-FAL clone, which start at around $1400, but having held and fired one of these weapons, it is truly a beautiful weapon to behold.

  11. Wow, that is really a nice piece of work, at first when you posted your intention to make a battle damaged 1/48, I thought you insane, but looking at this, I think it is well worth it! I salute you, you are indeed a first rate customizer.

  12. I have the first 7 seasons on DVD, I really like the show, but this last season isnt the same...I dont know, I guess RDA was a major character and to have him being in the show very litle, it isnt the same...

But on the next note, they are bringing in Ben Browder, of Farscape fame to come in, and they are bringing in Claudia Black, (Also of Farscape fame) who was seen this season for an episode, for the first 5 episodes to cover for Amanda Tapping, who is popping out a kid.

    Lets wait and see..
