  1. I would prefer them in the Metal Robot line actually. The smaller scale would work better for display and shelf space. I really like what they have been doing with the line, they aren't skipping on details. To me they look like smaller Metal Build robots and they have the gimmicks. With my shrinking shelf they work better for me if I was going to do a whole team. I was tempted to pick up a few high grades awhile back but read they weren't the best. It is a shame bandai normally doesn't fill out whole teams often.
  2. FYI, if anyone is interested in the Metal Robot Infinite Justice get it from Japanesse sites. BBTS has their pre-order up and they are price gouging, $244.99 . http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/71846
  3. I much rather see 00 designs that Seed designs any day. And I can't see what else they could do after the Metal Build Astraea release in May. Maybe a few option sets but they have to be running low on 00 stuff. Hopefully they will release some photos of the Metal Build Crossbone gundam. I won't mind see that design for the next three years.
  4. Damn, I still havent got billed. Hopefully they didnt get shorted on pre orders.
  5. Has anyone recieved notifications about their Strike Freedom from HLJ?
  6. I feel we will get a Zeta plus hummingbird this year or next at the rate they are doing Sentinel suits. There is no way the C1 Zeta plus was a one time deal. I am hoping when the do release them both won't be P-Bandai.
  7. HMmmmmmm....... a bit of price increase from the Strike Freedom (11,700 yen) to the Infinite Justice (14,000 yen). Still getting it but I am glad they are spacing these guys out. Debating whether I should one form the Japan web stores or wait for BBTS. I think i would rather go with BBTS as long as the mark up isn't stupid high. $170 - $180 would be reasonable. And it looks like Gundam Sentinel is getting more Metal Robot Damashii love http://www.taghobby.com/archives/268878
  8. Does nippon yassan offer any discounts on shipping if you group orders together? I am debating whether to separate pre-orders or group all of them in one order. The model kits I am looking all come out within a month or two of each other. Or forget them and go with USA gundam store or BBTS.
  9. Great choice with the RG GP01! That is a solid kit and still one of my favorites. If you planned on painting the beam rifle lens I recommend doing that first before inserting it into the beam rifle. There is no good way to remove the lens after it is installed. And carefully with the head antenna, the plastic is very thing and easily broken or stressed.
  10. That makes much more sense. Do you like the Monster plant version of that Godzilla? I watched the movie on Netflix and thinking about getting the Monsterarts.
  11. Is that the Full Armored version? The Thunderbolt gundam is jealous.
  12. Yeah, it is the pay upfront that is a bummer. That is why I go with BBTS when I can with P-Bandai stuff. As long as the markup isn't ridiculous.
  13. Tamashii posted a preview of the Metal Robot Damashii Strike Freedom Gundam. http://blog.livedoor.jp/tamashii_robot/22477264201818 It looks really good and looking forward to getting it later. But as I scroll down to the end I see this: That figures , one of the reasons I pre-ordered the SF is for the Infinite Justice they teased awhile ago. Oh well, hopefully bbts won't have a big markup on it. After scrolling through the blog post I had one question, Can the Metal Build be displayed with the Dragoons "firing"?
  14. Well, guess I will be staking bbts for awhile. Hopefully they won't have a big markup and I can get two.
  15. Same, but Bandai is being very smart with the Metal Build line. They have only done mobile suits were they can use the frame multiple times. That probably cuts down on cost somewhere. Honestly I think that is a good move and make sense that they are doing the Crossbone gundam next with the multiple variants it has. Might be why they released the F91 and the Crossbone could use a similar frame. I can see them doing the Nu and Hi-Nu gundam. It is possible they could use the Sazabi frame for other bulky suits, the line needs some Zeon suits.
  16. The delays suck but at least we have a good chance the ride armor will be a quality piece. I rather wait to have a solid toy than pay $175 for something with flaws. Hopefully it will be worth. Sorry to the people who have other pre-orders tied up with Stig and Rey.
  17. Just got my package from Anime King on Ebay during the 20% off! I got the SOC Gipsy Danger for $198 and SRC Mazinger Zero for $88, shipped! Can't wait to get home and open them up.
  18. No problem! A Stoner Sunshine effect would have been great. Everyone that got a Shin Getter should email Sentinel requesting an option set for effects and proper weapons.
  19. My torso joint is good, it does not feel louse or too tight. Have you been able to use the smaller of the two stand connectors? The stand arm with the smaller connector is too short to plug into the back port.
  20. That is amazing box art, I love it. Can't wait to start building that beast.
  21. Glad I am not the only one getting two units. I have one on pre-order at HLJ and one at BBTS. Definitely want to do a display with the Zeta C1s and EX-S gundam.
  22. I got my Shin Getter today and the damn thing is AMAZAING!! Holy crap did Sentinel out do themselves!! I will try to get some photos up but all I can say is WOW!!. It definitely feels and looks like a $300 toy. Solid paint work all around the figure. You have matte, gloss, metallic, and transparent pieces. The transparent pieces with the bright gorgeous green makes the piece pop. Tons of sculpt and painted detail all over. The bare plastic is not an eye sore and the face sculpt is perfect. I was very surprised how much diecast they put into Shin Getter. I am used to the Re:edit Iron men that are light so this was an awesome surprise when I picked it up. Does the Sentinel Mazinkiaser have the same weight? The joints have perfect tolerance and nothing felt loose. It is well balanced and can pull off any pose with the engineering they added. My biggest negative I have is why they changed the weapons. The toy itself looks exactly like it did in the show, but they way undersized the weapons. Which is a big bummer because I love the Getter Scythe. I had three very minor paint issues, but nothing noticeable. I would have to be looking for them. If Bandai decides to do a SOC of Shin Getter that will be the only competition. This is the current definitive Shin Getter.
