  1. I really want to get the re-issue version because I missed out on the first release. But I am having trouble justifying that price if Arcadia hasn't addressed any of the issues. At $265 the toy should not have lose ankles. I want to buy it because second hand market prices are ridiculous and I love Macross plus. But if they haven't fix the issues from the first release then I would rather wait for a sale.
  2. Very Nice!! I would be interested to know how you like the Astray Red frame. I have the metal build versions of Destiny, Gold Astray and Exia Avalanche. I wasn't a big enough fan of the Red frame to buy the metal build version because of the price.
  3. I am very surprised there isn't third party companies for Macross. I collect third party transformers which I blame for me getting into the high end toy collecting game. But I still collect third party transformers because they fill in gaps my collection and do really great figures. Figures that Hasbro or Takara haven't done, or have done horribly. So when there is a good market for strike/super packs of various colors I am surprise someone hasn't cashed in.

Really happy I decided to order Roy through a local import shop. I will probably get Roy later everyone ordering through NY but I would rather that then deal with extra shipping.
  5. I definitely think Arcadia should release the strike/super pack separately. The second hand market for the Yamato releases are ridiculous. I can see them first releasing the VF-1S bundle with the strike/super packs and wait a few months before putting the pack out separately. That would allow them more time between the VF-1S re-release and the next Valkyrie. Plus if they don't release the packs separately that would be a huge kick in the balls to any one that bought the first release of the VF-1S.

The Re:Edit Hulkbuster is awesome! Honestly one of the best figures I have purchased to date. Sentinel did a fantastic job on the paint with the high gloss red and different gold metallic shades throughout the armor. Definitely the heaviest piece I have bought from Sentinel with lots of diecast. The joints have this perfect tension of being able to move and hold a pose without difficultly. The best surprise was how well they hide the battery compartments for the LED lights. The chest batteries are actually in the pylons stick up in the back. They separate to hold two batteries each and have a metal connector that pops in and out easily. It's like handling a Hot Toys figure expect smaller and alot more playable which is a big plus for me. I could never justify buying a $200+ toy that you can't pose or play with. And I have always been a fan of the Iron Man comic so this design is perfect. The movie armors are great but I don't have the same connection to them like I do with the comics. I only hope they keep going with this line and do some of the more obscure armors. It was definitely worth the money and wait.
  7. I think I am in the minority group of "Love Macross but missed the first release of Arcadia's VF-1S." I am really excited that they are re-issuing this and YF-19 (missed that one too). If they do a Max super J version after this, that would be the best.

I just shipped my three Regults, VF-4G, and Re:Edit Hulkbuster from my HLJ private warehouse yesterday. Looking forward to setting them up with my Hikaru VF-1S. Just waiting on the actual shipping confirmation from HLJ. Waiting sucks.
  9. Has anyone tried applying Pledge floor polish to the tabs to thicken them? Great form by the way!
