  1. The video makes it sound like Gundam Universe line will be carried in retail stores worldwide. So I wouldn't buy them from HLJ, I have great versions of these ones already or would buy the Robot Spirits. But if I saw these at Target, Best Buy, or Meijer hanging on peg? I would definitely impulse buy them.
  2. Woot! Can't wait for pre-orders to open up.
  3. Pre-orders for the Metal Build Crossbone X-1 are up again at BBTS https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/81613 If anyone is on the fence $240 is a good price for this piece.
  4. Love the strap! It looks really good. I am super happy that I pre-ordered the VF-1J with the prices they are going for now. Definitely pre-ordering any future releases when they go up.
  5. I have a copy and personally recommend it. Is it $280 good? Probably not, I am a huge Gundam fan and have the majority of the metal builds but even that price would stop me. If you can find it for $200 - 240 definitely get it. Anything above that would be at your discretion. I have read the manga and like the suit design. If you like the pirate motif this will be the best version you can get. The suit is on the smaller size, like the F91, but is poses beautifully. There isn't anything impending movement other than the weapons when holstered. They changed the shoulder joint so it slides out and you can get the arms further across the chest. Like the F91 there is an extra joint in the forearm to help hold the weapons. The waist and legs work similar to previous metal builds. All of my joints have been tight and nothing is lose. The hole on the back is for the core fighter to plug into. It is only there because it is part of the design. Unless you are displaying the core fighter by itself the hole is a mute point. Either the core fighter will be plugged in (the X thrusters are attached to the fighter) or you will have the cloak on it. FYI you can have the cloak on while the core fighter is plugged in. It just makes the cloak look like it is flowing in the wind. The high point is the number of gimmicks and tampo printing. The gold tampos are really sharp and nicely done. It probably has the paint applications for the regular releases because of the shiny gold and matte colors they used. And it comes with a ton of option parts. Everything from the manga for this version of the suit is included. Plus the month opening gimmick works really well and does not get stuck. The only slightly negative thing I can say is the cloak took me 30 - 45 min to get setup. Bandai wants you to attached the plastic pieces a very specific way. They attached very securely but if you have to remove them you risk damaging the fabric. Hope that helps. There is a link to the manga if you are interested. https://mangarock.com/manga/mrs-serie-292407

    Hi-Metal R

Please let be HMR Tomahawk! Please please please!!
  8. I ordered from NY but I also check Hanger Bay ebay store. Both had high shipping.
  9. Why is shipping for P-bandai sooo high. I don't mind paying a little more for a kit but the shipping is killing me. Still ordered the damn kits. Going to look great with the woundwort and the Hazel II.
  10. FYI for anyone ordering through NY. The shipping to United States, Michigan is 5,750 Yen for SAL and Airmail. 5,950 for EMS. That was an expensive pre-order.
  11. NY has a hell of an up charge. MSRP is 23,700 Yen and NY has the pre-order up for 28,000. Edit: Nevermind, just checked Big In Japan. They have it for 39,990 yen.
  12. I am in for another Exia. Going to have a sweet display of 00 Metal Builds. Now to buy more Yeti stand arms.
  13. Hacchaka has a review up for the Metal Build Crossbone: http://blog.livedoor.jp/hacchaka/archives/52037525.html#more Can't wait for this thing to be in stock and shipped!

  15. And pre-ordered from NY. Looking forward to build the TF-6 again, that was a fun and interesting build.
  16. Sample review of the Metal Build Crossbone X-1. http://blog.livedoor.jp/tamashii_robot/27713247201919 It looks amazing! Really hoping I can get a copy from Amazon Japan with two day shipping.

  18. A quality delivery from HLJ. I love the DX VF-1J and Sentinel Getter 1. I honestly prefer the Bandai DX over Arcadia's 1/60 and will be replacing them as Bandai releases more.
  19. If anyone needs a PO for the Metal Robot Destiny Gundam HLJ has some again: https://hlj.com/metal-robot-damashii-side-ms-destiny-gundam-bans55382
  20. I am ready for the Crossbone X-1! I missed out on the pre-order because of HLJ new website. Hopefully they will have a few extra when it is released but I have a PO with BBTS just in case. Going through Nippon Yasan with their mark-up price and shipping would suck. I am very curious if the cloth cope will be good quality like Sentinel's or the cheap stuff.
  21. They remind me of the old MSIA line from the 90s. You could find those in US toy stores. Maybe we will see these in stores?
