  1. So what causes the loose ankles? Poor design? Sounds like a simple fix....
  2. I don't own the current Arcadia YF-19 so what was the problem with the ankles? What needs be done to fix it? Is it a big fix?
  3. I take from that they are going to try to fix it as much as possible?
  4. Seems like more and more of you are getting the 0S! Anyone can verify the QC on the legs? Seeing them pics makes me wanna get one! :D:D

I've always suspected such polls are rigged.
  6. Good point! My sentiments exactly. People who buy this valk will want it to look like the Roy's in the anime. And this is a almost $400AUD toy how many people would wanna customise this??? 😵 Say whut? Does it happen often? lol
  7. Was there a reason why Arcadia are not printing the U.N Spacy decals on the legs? QC problem or to cut cost? I can't imagine it being able to save much! Arcadia out to save pennies!??!? Doesn't bode well with me.
  8. Awesome pics!!! How are the legs? How are the legs?
  9. Hahaha... have to say I'm pretty tempted too but would rather catch up on older releases such as YF-19 or get the new VF-0S (if there are no problems). Decisions... decisions....
  10. I certainly hope they are re-issuing it. Missed out of the first run.
  11. Eh? Bandai making a YF-19??? I also prefer the Arcadia YF-19 because it fits in better with my Yamato collection. I think the bottom line is these 2 valks are great toys. It really boils down to personal preference.
  12. You are right. For that price it should be perfect out of the box. But we are where we are now. As it stands, I rather do a little fixing than get the Bandai version. I can live with that.
  13. I'm still sitting on the fence with this one. I don't have any of them but I like prefer the look of the Arcadia toy but seems like the build quality of Bandai is better. So the question now is can the problems with Arcadia be fixed? E.g. the loose ankles and wings? Can someone who has the toy advise? If Arcadia's toy can be remedied at home then we have an obvious winner.

Dang! That's all right. I know a bank nearby that has slack security certain times of the day.

I got the payment notice from NY too. I understand their reasons for doing so but 4mths is a little way to advance. Maybe 2mths from release would be more ideal. Now I'm stuck in budget limbo with so many other releases slated for this month.... Half thinking of cancelling. Anywhere else available that will let me pay in April?

Ah thanks! I never got the armored 1J so have no idea. Thanks.

The Hikaru white/grey makes it look almost low-viz especially in the shadows... Question: Why is the nose cone removable? Does it serve any purpose?
  18. They may be prototypes but unlikely they would change their concept at this stage. So if they look to be fixed pose valks then highly unlikely they would be transformable.

Comparison pics with other "Rubbish" Valks. From left: Revoltech, Bandai Hi-Metal R and Banpresto.
  20. http://toysdaily.com/discuz/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=244555&extra=page%3D1&page=1 They don't seem to be transformable. Pass...
  21. http://masterfileblog.jp/news/2015/08/28/6385.html It is so white... 😍
  22. Hahaha, true! I love the HCM pro series! I remember back then I was hoping and praying that Bandai would release Macross valks in that series but it didn't happen. War in the pocket!
  23. If Bandai are smart they would do a 1:72 line. There's so much more accessories available from the 1:72 model kit world. I don't even mind something smaller like1:144 scale.
