I was at a local toy shop this afternoon and I was enquiring about an Arcadia RF VF-1S in the display window and the owner quoted me $350 for it. Appalled, I asked him why is it so expensive and he said to me that Arcadia has lost it's Macross license and won't be producing anymore SDF/DYRL Macross stuff. I tried pressing him for more details but all the would say is that he knew this from his HK "source". Grr....

Just a quick question: Traditionally I remember that Yamato VF-1 valks have always been an off-white greyish colour but some of their special editions and newer ones are pure white. Which versions of their valks are white and which ones are off-white grey? And the newer VF-1 valks by Arcadia are also white? I am asking because I want consistency in my collection. Which ones do you guys prefer?

Yeah at Mandarake. But to be honest I was kinda disappointed on the offering and the PRICE! Considering that they are all used valks!

You can say what you want but please back up your claims and justify your words - why do you believe what you believe.

Do you have pics of the different white coloured pieces? Can't decide which one to get.

While I think that the rainbow tint on the early versions of Yamato's Ver.2 valks are really cool, I have heard that it causes the canopy to crack. How real or how common is this problem? Because the canopy on my only ver.2 valk is still fine. What is your experience on this?

Hi my Macross brothers, I have a Yamato Strike and Super Hikaru with cracked shoulder joint. How can I fix it? Any ideas? Or can I still get replacement parts? Or is my valk now worthless?

So which one is more anime accurate colourwise? Looks like the Arcadia one is more "white"?

What are the differences between the upcoming VF-0S compared to the previous Yamato release? I have one on pre-order but am really thinking hard if I want to keep it. It's not cheap and I would rather use the money to catch up on original Macross VF-1 valks. Need to prioritise.

This would be really good news if it were true! I took a break in collecting Yamatos and Arcadias and am trying to catch up on old releases and the prices are just crazy. There is no way I can justify it. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ARCADIA/YAMATO??? P.S. Was also just check prices for the Arcadia YF-19 and guess how much they are selling for on ebay? SCARY!

Hi all, anywhere still have the Hikaru VF-1S due out in Nov? They seem to be sold out or they have stopped taking orders. Really want this piece, can someone advice?
