Initial build begun. Main body slips together in 15secs!. Seams, as to be expected from WAVE, are positioned to be virtually invisible. Ram jet intakes and exhausts will need painting before assembly of the body halves. Although its snap together it still needs gluing to seal it firmly. Panel lining is good and the airframe cover snaps in beautifully with a perfect panel line gap at the edge.

No... the book needs to be the size it is for marketing. All kits like it are in boxes that size.

My wave kit has arrived. Pretty simple instructions and construction. Not much to the kit really But... it looks good!!

the 22.1 measurement you have should be from rear (where you have it) to CENTRE of the pin

Yellow centre of wing pivot pin to centre of wing pivot pin is 47.5mm Pink centre line of wing pivots to rear is 20mm

Very tempted to attempt a bigger section of deck that just a single waist cat. I have a set of nimitz class deck plans so.... it's possible.

They are fine. Just not based on US carrier designs. The JBDs are different and no catapult system. Russian and Chinese systems rely on the planes own thrust to get off the deck which is why you don' see many on the carrier deck... need all the length they can get to launch, and why they can't run full ordnance and external fuel loads... too heavy.

The figures I bought ... so far - eyeing up another 25 for the Destroid dioramas... Plus the 1/72 scale chains, hooks and tie downs. A Wave Corp. VF-4 of VFA-213 Black Lions is going on one of the Carrier Deck displays in a weeks time.

I'm assuming its simple enough to omit the Lil Drakens so the 31F can be built standard.

I'm going back to get some more. French ground crew for destroid techs and the black hawk helo pilots with body armour as destroids pilots for my wave destroids

Waves destroids were amazingly well designed so this one should be easy
