acutally guys i didn't take it apart at all. i used the same techiuqe i use in my model kits ... all together it took about 30 min. here;s the trick guys. take a small cup or container. add water, some palmolive(dish washing soap) and and black acrylic paint. ( must be acrylic!!!!!) mix it all together until you get a type of sluggy mixture. then with an ordinary paint brush apply everywhere there is a panel line ect. let it dry for about ten minutes then just rub off. if it gets a little hard to take off just apply a little water to a rag and it will come right off. this techniuqe is full prof if you mess up no prob just wipe off and start over. note it is supossed to look really messy but it will come out beautiful and as a side effect it will give you that great weathered look and make you valk look less like a toy!

so, I went to check the mail today and i almost kissed my mail man,!!!!! walking towards me was a man carrying a rather large box from twinmoons!!! just got my VF-0S! this thing is absolutely amazing!!! the detail, the size the amzing opportunity to weather this bad boy. also, i am so glad that i am one of the few who found no problems with them I have inspected all four of them and they are all great absolutely flaws. anyway here are my pics

too answer your question, i have been building kits for about two years now. as far as air brushes are concerned i started out with them and found them to be a real pain in the ass so i just use small cans of spray paint (no CFC's of course) you can find them in any hobby shop. the rest is patience and masking tape.

it's good to know that the kits falls together so great. did you paint the white parts and if so what color did you use glose white?

To those of you who have already gotten your kits ...i have a question. do you think that the supposed white parts on this kit are just a little too yellow? what do you guys think or did i just get a messed up batch from hasegawa? I ordered three and they are all the same.

personaly, I think that the perfect snake would be best played by Eric Banna. he has proven to be both an action actor and one who can be very emotional as displayed by MUNIC. not to mention he really looks alot like snake.

man. i really didn't realize the demand was so high for the VF-0s. That makes really glad that i pre-ordered now i don't feel as guilty. hehehe "as if i would ever feel guity about buying valks!" I looked at what was to be in 1/100 scale back in DEC. 2004 i don't know, it kinda grew on me. I think i would actually like to have one. any one else feel the same?

hey, first of all great work!!!!!! can you explain in detail how you did this custom? what kind of white paint did you use ? did you use primer? i have done my own custom with a master piece VF-!A but i am a little afraid of doing it with a 1/48 because if a screw up that is a whole lot of flow down the tube! what do you recommend.? thanks alan.
