1. That is f***ing beautiful. Wow
2. I did a shoot without the fastpacks.
3. Well, as far as photoshopping goes, this is pretty much it. Step 1: crop the image so that only the figure and the background remain Step 2: apply "auto levels" Step 3: apply "auto contrast" and "auto colour" (optional) Step 4: go to "levels" and fiddle around a little, you can brighten up the background and keep the figure in a decent light Step 5: adjust brightness of the image to make the background super white and you may need to adjust the contrast a little . That's the basic way. Another way to take it a step further is to duplicate the layer. In this copy layer cut out everything around the figure using the polygonal lasso. Then, go back to your original layer, adjust brightness in order to make the background as bright a white as you possibly can. Going back to your copy layer of the figure, touch up the brightness as need be. That's about it. Any questions?
4. Thanks man, it means alot. I'm using a Cannon E0S 10D (the most awsomest gift my uncle's ever given me)with a macro lens mounted on a tripod using a trilight system (one light above, one to the right, and one to the left) using everclear bulbs against a piece of white bristal board. Although, I touched them up in photoshop by fiddling with the levels. Here's a before and after comparison. Before: After: A good friend of mine at a Transformers boards actually showed me a killer method of photoshopping that just takes it to an entirely new level. I've actually been fiddling with it this past hour. Check this out Before: Normal photoshop touchups: Uber photoshopped:
5. I did a shoot of my VF11B w/fastpacks in fighter mode. I think the results are pretty nice.
6. So they're aren't bad? As in, worth $12.00 each? Anyone else have any thoughts?
7. I'm just looking at some pix of the VF-19 Fire and Blazer Valks. Just what are these? Who makes them? I've seen the Bandai versions, but are those the only ones? Before I comit to buy one I want to make sure I get a half decent one. I ask because the Bandai ones seem to go for around $50 each, but there are others that go for much less. Can anyone shed some light on this? Here are some pix of what I'm asking about. Are these the Bandai ones? Or is there another manufacturer? Who makes this version?
8. HEY?!! 353662 Don't you mean, "EH?!" 353707 LOL!!!

12. Forgive my ignorance, but which Alphas would these be to? Are we talking the Toynami masterpiece collection?
13. Wow, haven't been keeping up with my threads. Great work everyone. I love looking at all those pretty pictures. Here are a few from my very modest collection: And this last one is a bit of a colab between my roomie (8th Darkness on Newgrounds) and myself. He did most of the work, since he's the photoshop master. I took the pic. The VF-19 has seen better days.
14. There's only one thing I have to say about this... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
