  1. Yeah, I can't be "Mister Nice Guy" all of the time. I think it has something to do with a full moon.
  2. Fulcy, Just curious, but I've never heard of Part#: R-R2. Perhaps you mean: R-L2. Just trying to help you out there buddy. Sincerely, Christopher
  3. LTSO, I know my friend, I'm just a little testy today. I think I overdosed on my Rogaine, so all of the testosterone is making me jumpy. Yeah, you hit the nail right on the head. I also like the term, "loquacious." Take it easy, Christopher
  4. ewilen, Rather than argue, I did the right thing and edited my posts. Knowledge of the rules does not mean that I'm immune from posting my opinion on occasion. I certainly hope you reference the "rules" in all instances where people post an opinion, as opposed to specific issues you selectively chose to champion. I apologize if you somehow took my comments personally. To each his own I always say. Religion was never mentioned so that is moot, and so I retained only one fact, which is not subject to "political" discussion/debate. Fact: a piece of information presented as having objective reality. Sometimes the truth can hurt. Sincerely, Christopher
  5. LTSO, I don't think anyone mentioned we were in a hurry to see the project finished, as we would rather see it done right, as opposed to rushed. Sincerely, Christopher
  6. I know, I was just kidding around.
  7. Gene, I think that Ken was temporarily busy helping with a Star Trek project, and based upon the pictures I've seen, it came out very nice. I'm not sure what his plans are now, with regard to other simultaneous projects coincedent with the VB-6 recast. I would imagine that he has been steadily working on it, and is ready to make a pretty substantial progress annoucement at any time. Sincerely, Christopher
  8. Fact: Federal law grants US citizens the right to discriminate against gays and lesbians in the hiring process. Sexual orientation is not a protected right. Sincerely, Christopher
  9. The thread was destined to die from the moment of it's inception. It's apparent that some people will be offended by the suggestion that they like to ride other men's rumps. We must do out utmost here to not comment upon the alternate lifestyle of our fellow MW members.
  10. Damn, looks like it's pretty big to me. I know someone asked this question before, but does the VB-6 have landing gear? I don't remember if the question was answered. I can't imagine that it would do a "belly landing" every time. If he does indeed officially have landing gear of some sort, are there any pictures? Will the Yamato version incorporate them?
  11. Hello, I just got this e-mail from G-System: They also sent me a bunch of pictures of the resin parts, but I'm not sure how to link to them, or post them here. The parts look perfect as is standard for G-System, and I'm sure beautiful decals, color photographs, easy to follow instructions and a nice box will be included as well. The kit will include everything needed to make a beautiful Wing Gundam ver Ka, similar to the Gundam FIX figure and the recently released MG kit, to include the gun, shield, etc. Here are some pictures to help inspire our anticipation: A completed Bandai PG Conversion: So, does anybody want to buy my Mint in Box Bandai 1/100 Master Grade kit? Looks like I won't need it any more. Sincerely, Christopher
  12. Hello >EXO<, If I understood you correctly, you are saying that when you click on the "e-mail" icon that comes with my posts and PM's, it just takes you to a dead link. I haven't had any problems yet, but that might be because people either PM me, e-mail me directly, or who knows. I checked my "Control Panel" and my AOL e-mail address is correct. I was able to e-mail myself, so it seems to work fine. Rob usually PM's me, or e-mails me directly, but he mentioned when he got back to me that apparently some of his PM's have disappeared, so that was the problem in this case. Not to mention the fact that he has a life like everyone else, and I'm sure this project has been very time consuming. I received my clear fast pack set, and eBay decal set, thank you Rob! Sincerely, Christopher
  13. Hello, Once again, thank you for doing this! If it will help move things along with Parts Set #2, I will also go ahead and get: L-L2 in addition to my already confirmed R-L2 Sincerely, Christopher
  14. 007-vf1, Yeah, I was glad I got to meet you, and I also think it was really cool what you went through to attend. Man, your entries were top notch! You definitely deserved to win the prizes you did. It's a good thing I didn't meet you in a dark alley somewhere, because I would have mugged you and taken your Q-rau and Hasegawa valkyries. We aren't that far apart, and it would be cool if we could both go. Because of my veteran status I can take the military flights, but I've never done it before, so I don't know how. It's a long ass drive, so flying is really the only option. By myself, I drove cross country in three days, but that was pushing it. It would be great to be there... Sincerely, Christopher
  15. Definitely one of my favorite WWII airplanes, and a good example.
  16. Hello, Sweet! I would love to see some close-up pictures. I did a little searching, and there is more to MW than just the forums. I also checked HLJ, and came up with the same possibility, as there is only one. If I found the right one, it can be built as either a VF-1A or VF-1S. The instructions looks like an additional missile pod is provided so you can use it in place of the Strike Cannon. The kit is listed as fixed pose an non-scale, but I would quess 1/144 perhaps. Here is the link: Kaiyodo VF-1S/VF-1A Sincerely, Christopher
  17. Stamen0083, I'm glad your happy and I'm sure your right about the VF-1S Strike. I haven't had a chance to check, so I'll just take your word on it. Keep in mind that I've had that particular FIX figure for a while, and as I said, the figures were either Mint in Sealed Box (box never opened), or Mint in Box (box was opened, all parts are mint, but not necessarily the tape ). Take it easy. Sincerely, Christopher
  18. >EXO< I'm glad that I was able to meet you, and all of the other people. There is nothing like being able to put a face with the PM/Post. There are a lot of cool people here at MW and I've made some good friends, which makes me really glad that I'm a member. Sincerely, Christopher
  19. Hello, I'm not sure that's possible since I won't be able to attend this year. By the way, I just want to say that I officially "hate" everyone that will get to go, while I'm now stuck on the East Coast. Seriously though, last year was a lot of fun, and the outside pool area offered some nice "mecha" that I would have liked to place in Gerwalk mode. Good luck to everyone, and hopefully there will be some great entries this year, because the ones from last year were amazing. It will be cool if we also have some type of East Coast MW Convention, especially considering the way the fire season and high temperatures have already hit you guys in Southern California. Sincerely, Christopher
  20. RichterX, I'm just kidding around, I know what you meant to say. Welcome to MW, tomorrow is your (30) day anniversary. Sincerely, Christopher
  21. Stamen0083, I know what you mean about the backpack/fastpack armor, but I built a Strike a year ago and I remember having a hard time with that part. It wanted to push down, but I had to put something thin into the gap and pull it up if I recall. That part also has pegs that hold the swing wing gears in place too. The parts should still be flush though, I would think. I'll have to check out the instructions of one of my unbuilt kits tonight. Did you receive your FIX Mark II yet? Sincerely, Christopher
  22. RichterX, How do you know he wears "depends" undergarments? So "coolness" directly correlates to the depends "of" the user? Perhaps someone could come up with a formula for that, such as: Let "D" stand for Depends Let "U" represent the user Let "C" represent the coolness factor So: DU:C which is a ratio Now that we know the question, the answer is yes, the 1/55 VT-1 and VE-1 are quite rare unless you would rather have the Hasegawa/Yamato versions. Value is in the eye of the beholder. Sincerely, Christopher
  23. Chris, Great job! So far, I haven't really cared for the SV-51 very much at all, but I honestly think that is because of the other paint schemes I've seen it in. I have to say that the color combination and pattern you used for yours is one of my all time favorites. I too find brush painting to often be a lot quicker/easier, just as long as you use a good brush, and a good paint that is the correct viscosity so it dries without showing the brush strokes. I've considered trying out an airbrush, but just can't bring myself to invest in one. Call me a dinosaur, but I don't relish the thought of the having to clean out the nozzle/tubbing everytime I want to change colors. I know there are a lot of benefits though. Your Low Viz. VF-1A looks great too. Did you use an actual Hasegawa Low Viz. or just a standard VF-1A painted gray? With regard to your VF-1S Roy Strike project, the white plastic almost looks like it is upainted. I also noticed that the plastic section behind the air brake is setting lower than it should be. The color you chose for the armor is very nice. Sincerely, Christopher
  24. Yeah, that's my point exactly with regard to the parts. However, I presume that people want the VF-1S head to put on to another valkyrie for custom purposes. I'm not looking to replace a perfectly good VF-1A head with a VF-1S head so that my valkyrie looks cool, but rather replace a broken part with a good one, so I really don't care which DYRL valkyrie is used (VF-1A or VF-1S. Besides, only one customer will get the VF-1S head, and so that leaves all of the other parts. As such, consideration to just parting a VF-1S as opposed to a VF-1A just because one person wants the head, doesn't make much sense. The decision is up to Neova, so it really doesn't matter either way.
  25. Hello, Here is a reply to an e-mail inquiry I sent regarding availability, and about what the kit will include: Sounds like good news to me! Sincerely, Christopher
