  1. VF22Red, The revised side panels look great since you moved the Destroid over! With regard to the large image of the VB-6 on the main panel, is it possible to move it slightly to the left so that more, if not all of the arm shows up? It looks like you can slide it over until the main cannons reach the edge. If you were to also shift the image up, it looks like most, if not all of the foot will become visible. Once that is done, you can adjust the text as needed. I don't mean to seem like I'm critiquing the work you are doing, I'm just trying to help. What you have done looks awesome, and I definitely do not have the talent that you apparently do, to come up with such a cool looking design. Good luck to all contestants! Sincerely, Christopher
  2. VF22Red, Looks great so far, I'm looking forward to seeing the rest. The way you have the various modes displayed, along with the thin black vertical line marking the separation between them, it almost looks like some of the lines flow onto the adjacent panel, as opposed to a clear delineation of each picture. Perhaps you could position each mode so they do not share lines with an adjacent panel, or thicken the black separating line to prevent the appearance. Just some suggestions. Sincerely, Christopher
  3. Jesse (Mr. Schizophrenic), Should I take your post as confirmation of your order? As of right now, you're on the tentative list. Please let me know my friend. Yeah, you can get one for yourself, and another for your alternate personality. Just let me know how many both of you are committing too, and break the news to your alter identity that he/she might have to wait to get their kit, until after everyone else gets at least (1) kit first. Sincerely, Christopher PS: If someone has a multiple personality disorder, and one of their other identities is a woman, and another is a male, is it still considered masturbation if they have sex together?
  4. Ken, Sounds great, I know a lot of us will be looking forward to your review and analysis. Best wishes and good luck! Sincerely, Christopher
  5. Melissa, Thanks, didn't mean to leave out Carl, but as you and I said, the decision is up to the owner of the kit. Has anyone contacted Noel regarding the source he used for his Club M 1/48 Ultimate Strike? As many of us know, he was able to provide white metal landing gear, the clear canopy, decals and photo-etched parts. Carl mentioned he would be away during his move, and he has a lot of confidence in the recaster he mentioned, but if that falls through, Rhoby has my vote as well. The JM recasts I purchased from him are very, very nice. Sincerely, Christopher
  6. irishman and Angel's Fury, I wanted to let both of you know that I received your PM's, and I appreciate your interest. Honestly, I want to see the VF-4G project completed just as badly as the VB-6, but as of right now, only the VB-6 has a confirmed recaster, and so only the VB-6 is actually moving forward right now. Why you ask? Well because the owner of the 1/72 IHP VF-4G has not indicated who he will trust to recast the kit, unlike the fact that he has selected Valkyrie to handle the VB-6. For all of our talk and input, it really comes down to what he wants, and that is fair; however, I'm sure he/she takes into account several factors, such as trustworthiness, experience, reputation and so forth. If the person/company "irishman" has suggested is approved by the owner, then we can move forward. As far as I know, only Melissa and possibly Ken (Valkyrie) have direct access to the owner of the VF-4G, so they would have to relay the information. Another possibility is Carl, who owns both a 1/100 VF-4G and 1/72 VF-4G transformable kits, and I believe he offered to let them be recasted as well. Just a few things to keep in mind about who can select the recaster for the VF-4G, Ken is working on the VB-6. Sincerely, Christopher
  7. Hello, I'll gladly include a nice prize for the winner. A brand new Master Grade Gundam kit, Hasegawa Macross model, or something similar. Whoever wins can let me know what they would prefer, within reason of course. With my luck, someone will be like, "I would really like a 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru Mint in Box with 1/48 Strike/Super Armor!" Well, let's be realistic, I'm not rich. Good luck! Sincerely, Christopher
  8. Hello Jesse, Thank you for taking this project up again. I'm definitely interested in the Macross Zero Destroid, those dual gatlin guns are sweet! The valkyrie booster sounds cool too, but mainly the Destroid for me. You can put me down for both though. Sincerely, Christopher
  9. Ghadrack, Welcome to the thread. The very first post in the thread states that all you need to do is either post or send me a PM. I'll take your post as positive confirmation. Sincerely, Christopher
  10. Devin, I understand what you mean about getting a kit as quickly as possible so the project can move forward. We'll get it figured out. I really like the noseart you posted above. If you could include those, as well as any others you find that are fitting, that will be cool. Everyone else, Please make sure you contact me so I can add your name to the list of people who have confirmed their interest in the VB-6 Koenig Monster, if you haven't already. Sincerely, Christopher
  11. Hayao, I'm glad your questions have been answered. Rather than have started a new thread, you could of and can continue to post in the other (2) threads already dedicated to the VB-6 Monster. If you have further comments or questions just go to the links already provided to you. It helps cut down on clutter and redundancy. Please let me know if you decide to purchase one of the kits so I can update the list. Sincerely, Christopher
  12. Angel's Fury, et al, I'm sure Valkyrie will be the person that payments are made to. Once the he establishes pre-orders, and the order that people are on the list, each respective person will make payments in a logical manner. You mention transferring the payment via "wire." Ken will advise which payment methods he accepts (Paypal, money order, etc.) when the time is right. I hope that helps. Sincerely, Christopher
  13. Wonderful job! As others have mentioned, the weathering and paint job are top notch.
  14. Exo, No need to apologize my friend. Maybe you are right, neither you or I know for sure at this time, perhaps we never will. My VT-1 recast from Rob came with a (2) seat cockpit, and the one pictured looks resin to me based upon the color. As far as the chestplate goes, it only takes (1) screw to take it off, and put another one on. It really doesn't matter though, does it? Jetfire, hodge podge of various valkyries, or an actual Bandai VT-1, it's all moot. Sincerely, Christopher
  15. Hello Melissa, Wow, your getting old! I never knew you were so much older than me. I don't turn (29) until April 3, which means you'll also get to experience (30) before I do. Well, Happy Birthday to you a little bit early. I appreciate you and Rob handling the screws. So far, everyone that has posted, e-mailed or PM'ed me have been updated on the list. Sincerely, Christopher
  16. Hello, Great show, I watched quite a few episodes on Cartoon Network, but have never really been able to figure out the story. From what I can tell, various giant robots were created in the past, the robots almost seem sentient, but they also have pilots such as Roger. The shows says that people have lost all memory of the past, and various flashbacks show hundreds of the robots in the past destroying things. A World War perhaps? What caused a mass memory loss? In the one episode, a large part of the city, the lights still work, and the windows keep out all of the water? Then there is the guy in the bandages that finds and restores the robot underground, I think it is the one with the propellers on the arms. Why are portions of the city in large domes, or is the entire world's population located under domes? Has the world's environment been ruined? Any explanation will greatly help. Or perhaps it's all meant to be an enigma. Thanks, Christopher
  17. Red Comet, Yes, the price is/will be: $250.00 Please keep in mind shipping, and the decals which will be optional, but recommended. It will be up to Valkyrie to determine exactly what the $250.00 price includes, but at the minimum it will be the complete VB-6 kit, box/boxart, and assembly instructions. Sincerely, Christopher
  18. Jung, I'm not sure. The place where the kit is being mailed will have a substantial bearing upon just how much the shipping costs. I know you are in Canada, but imagine someone in Japan or somewhere similar. Perhaps you should PM Valkyrie and inquire with him. That matter was never discussed, and I believe it was presumed that the customer would pay the shipping fee separately so as to not cut into Valkyrie's profit margin. Please let me know if you would like to commit to the kit. Sincerely, Christopher
  19. Angel's Fury, Damn dude, you are on the ball! I like the way you did the thread, and including the pictures was a great idea, I'll have to do that as well. We need more members like you here at MW. Polite, proactive, and you like Yuna. Everything that you have posted looks correct. Perhaps we can try to and see if Devin will handle the decals for this kit as well, but it is up to him. He will do the best job, that is for sure. We never talked about the box art for the VF-4G, while the kit itself was discussed, it took a backseat to the VB-6, so the details are not as clear at this time. I'm sure that all will be revealed. I am as excited as everyone else, but until we get more information, some things will be speculative. Chindenathus, Taken care of in the VB-6 thread. $750.00 on the VB-6 alone, that's quite a purchase. Sincerely, Christopher
  20. Hello, $250.00, thanks forgot to add that. But it is up there now. If you are curious about anything not mentioned, please let me/us know my friend. Sincerely, Christopher

  22. Hello, Not a problem, you probably did not notice that this thread was started prior to yours. PM a moderator and ask him to delete yours, edit your thread to be empty in the mean time, and I already transfered the list. That should resolve the problem. Sincerely, Christopher
  23. Hello, You added yours, after I had already posted mine. Suggest we transfer your list to my thread. If you agree, we can have yours deleted. Sincerely, Christopher
  24. Hello Moderators, Here is the link: VB-6 Koenig Monster Please take a look at it, and determine if it is eligible to be "pinned" for the near future in the "Model" thread. Thank you in advance, Christopher
  25. Hello, First and foremost, Thank You from all of us to the anonymous owner of the VB-6 Koenig Monster Kit who has made all of this possible. It's people like you that restore our faith in the inherent goodness and generosity of our fellow Macross fans. Second of all, if it hadn't been for Melissa taking the time to start the thread, things would not have turned out the way they did. Thank you! Third, thank you to Ken (Valkyrie) for volunteering to recast the kit, and best wishes to the other anonymous MW Member that volunteered. I'm sure Ken will do a great job as evidenced by his committment and experience. Last, but not least, all of the people (Carl, Devin, Gene, Rob and etc.) who posted in the thread and helped move the project along. We're glad Devin agreed to handle the decal commission, and Carl's offer of financial assistance. Please post, e-mail, or send a Private Message to me and I will add you to the list. If you've already contacted someone else, I'll try and get the information from them, they can contact me, and you can feel free to let me know anyway. I promise to keep the list updated. By no means am I the official/designated person who decides who gets their kit first, and the order you are on the list does not at this time reflect who will get their kit first. That will have to be determined as we go along, based upon the free kit for the owner if he wants one, Carl will potentially help with some costs if Valkyrie (Ken) elects to go that route, Devin needs a kit to make the decals, potential pre-orders, and so forth. I'm sure that many people want to get their kit as soon as possible, but Valkyrie first has to get the kit, mold the original, mail back the original kit, clean up the first recast, mold the cleaned up copy, make sure all is good, make improvements if needed, and then begin casting parts. He is of course the source to provide timelines and so forth. So the order in which people get their kits will be based upon first taking care of the kits original owner, and the next priority is furthering the project itself. After that, the order can be fairly determined amongst ourselves in some manner. And finally, please do not commit to ordering this kit and/or the number you wish to purchase unless you are 110% certain that you have the funds available. The amount of orders will potentially dictate the per item cost, and so we do not need anyone to flake out. Also the molds can usually only support so many copies, so I'm not sure if you request more than (1) kit, if other people behind you will have to wait based upon the amount potentially available. Anyway, enough with the formalities, here are the details: 1/100 IHP/Liquid Stone VB-6 Koenig Monster Fully Transformable Recast Project Price: $250.00 Recaster: Valkyrie Decals: Anasazi37 Screws: Fulcy/Melissa Box: Valkyrie Box Art: To be determined via a contest Instructions: CD-Rom Certain people have offered to help with certain expenses, Carl (recast), Christopher/Gene (decals), Melissa (screws/contest). I'm not sure if we want to save this thread to reflect the list exclusively and the already existing thread can still be used for updates and comments, or start using this thread exclusively. If I missed anything, please let me know. Sincerely, Christopher
