  1. 1/72 scale is perfect Possibility for add-on parts to create other versions is awesome. Price sounds right based upon the level of detail mentioned. Sign me up for (2). One to save, and one to have someone build for me.
  2. Excellent job! It's the nicest "battle damaged" valkyrie that I've ever seen, regardless of the fact that I've only seen a couple.
  3. Looking good! Thank you for posting the update.

Hi Mike, Go for it! If the price is right, I'll buy one to keep and one to have built for me. 1/72 is the only scale for me, and I would love to have a Monster to display. Christopher
  5. Fulcy, Thank God, I was wondering why you hadn't contacted me for several months... Later, Christopher
  6. Here it is, and sadly yet another disappointment. "Should" is the key word: "And finally, for those of you who are still interested in getting one of the recast kits, they should finally be finished sometime this month. I'm still working on getting the final molds finished, but I just don't have enough free time to get them nearly as quickly as I would like to " Posted: Feb 3 2005, 12:28 AM I know this project isn't an easy one, and I know that patience is a virtue, but you shouldn't take on a project unless you plan to finish it, and you can devote yourself to it at least 100%. My best wishes to Ken, and I sincerely hope that he is able to finally finish soon. His previous goal to beat the Yamato release has come and gone, and that was with a very big headstart. Heck, we didn't even know that Yamato was going to release a VB-6 when this project started. My pet projects: 1.) The 1/72 Catseye recast project I helped with is completed. 2.) The 1/72 variable VF-4G recast project I coordinated is almost complete. 3.) The 1/48 VF-1AG is alive, but going slowly.
  7. Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I remember reading in the Yamato Koenig Monster thread that Valkyrie would be finished with the IHP VB-6 within less than a month...I'll have to do a search.
  8. Vitja made a really nice 1/72 Hasegawa Gerwalk Conversion. Slight correction to the following: "I have looked through Jesse's complete list of 1/72 scale kits and found no mention of one." "Myersjessee" is working along with others to update the MW Model Section. "ChristopherB" researched and developed the complete 1/72 Model List.
  9. Please proceed with the project. Count me in for (1).
  10. A VF-11 would be great! I'm still hoping that Hasegawa will release PE sets for Macross Plus and Zero. Their Macross models seem to sell pretty well.
  11. YF-19 in Gerwalk Mode. I'm not sure of the scale either. I know only of a non-scale (1/72) YF-19 battroid resin kit, but it's not this one: Edit: Looks like a built 1/100 Liquid Stone YF-19
  12. Best wishes to you Devin, and I'm glad you're back. I think we need to come up with a "10 Reasons Why Valkyries are Better than Women" list, similar to what was done with beer. Best wishes, Christopher
  13. Hello, I removed the Platz PE parts from the list. Did some research and contacted the MW member who mentioned them and verified that they were never released. Great project Jesse. I'll help as soon as I'm able to. Sincerely, Christopher
  14. Hello, This is my first post in some time, and I thought it fitting that I post in this thread, because I 'm still really excited about owning a recast of the IHP Koenig Monster. Ken, thank you for all of your hardwork on this project, and I hope you will finally be able to finish it soon. I'm glad you haven't given up, and I'm sure the end will justify the means. A few people contacted me in my absence regarding this thread. I would like to resume managing the list of customers, so if anyone wishes to be added or removed please advise me accordingly. Sincerely, Christopher
  15. I'll take care of removing your name. Ken, Any new information, or status information? Best wishes, Christopher
  16. A raffle sounds like fun to me. Although I never win, it's still fun to try and feel envious of the people that do. I'm not sure what your motivation is for not applying the amount paid to enter the raffle towards the person's purchase. It's really quite simple, because all you have to worry about with a raffle is at least breaking even, or in other words, selling enough tickets to cover the expense of the free prizes. For example, I can see where if you give a way (3) different prizes valued at a total of $300, and the recipients only paid $20 each to enter, that leaves a negative balance of $240, and that money has to then be replaced from any profits earned via normal sales. The only way to get around that is to make the ratio of dollars to raffle tickets offset. For example, if you pay $10, you only get (5) raffle tickets. That leaves $5 per each (5) raffle tickets sold to help offset the cost of any free prizes given away. The fair thing to do then is us whatever money is leftover to lower the total of each person's respective purchase. Where there is a will, there is a way, but in the last raffle, the price of the free items being given away was not accounted for sufficiently apparently.
  17. I'm interested as well!
  18. By no means am I rich, but worrying about the price won't do anything to make it less. It's not like John is jacking up the price to make a lot of money off of us, and so by continuing to be concerned about how much it will cost with the hope that John will magically lower it, is a foolhardy expectation. It will cost what it will cost, nothing more, nothing less. If you want him to sacrifice quality so you can save a little money, then perhaps you should just buy the launch rail. I have faith that John will do a great job, build it right so it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, sturdy and functional, while at the same time keeping the price as reasonable as possible. People will either be able to afford to buy what they want or they won't, but worrying or discussing it, won't make it cost any less, unless you are willing to sacrifice quality/functionality/appearance. Keep up the great work John, and thank you!!!
  19. Amazing! Your idea to allow people to purchase what they can afford is awesome. Do you plan to include a little driver figure? Not sure how many people are in the cab.
  20. I really appreciate all of the great information, thank you! Yes, I agree regarding the Macross Plus Battroids, and likewise, where is the VF-11, and GBP-1?
  21. Noel, Please advise who the wings were made by when you get a chance. Sincerely, Christopher PS: I meant to say September "25" and not September "5" in my recent PM to you.
  22. Looks awesome! I really like weathering.
  23. I replied to your PM, and updated the list. Until everyone on the list taken care of, there won't be an option to get a second IHP VB-6.
  24. Thunder Hammers all the way, but I will buy all (3) if they are produced, and I hope they are!!! I won't say this is gospel, but if Hasegawa was planning to do the GBP-1, we would have seen, or heard of something by now. Yamato has had their 1/60 version out for sometime, and I don't think it would have taken Hasegawa any longer to design their own. And as the John said, even if they do, his version would be unique in it's own way.
