Here's the pricing from japan post. VF-1S with packaging /shipping box should be just under 1200g Pricing for EMS is 2800yen The weight can go all the way to 1500g and the price will still be 2800yen Weight 1501g to 1750g = 3600 yen Weight 1751g and over = 4000 yen So they definitely should have about 300gram to play with at the 2800 yen price. But then this is N-Y so they would like to get you on shipping too. They probably shipped a bunch out and notice what they are charging and what they are paying to japan post is too close for profit. placing all their unshipped VF-1S on hold, emailing extra weight invoices , waiting for suppose planned profit.

For those that's getting an extra shipping charge message , what was your shipping , EMS, RSal ? Did you preorder earlier that comes with free stand? Or later no stand? Did you order just 1? The extra box and the extra stand will add some weight but it shouldn't be 1000 yen worth. The weight of those extra shouldn't be more than 150grams. And the size shouldn't matter much to the price because of how small the regular ones are , it should all still fit within the small parcel restrictions.

MSRP was 23800 but you were able to get it much cheaper with preorders from different stores. It was just under 20000 shipped from Nippon-yasan.

I'm sure my mind will think of a way to explain it., It's a valk going into Trans-AM mode (Gundam 00) when they are about to make some space croissants. Of just put something red next to it and blame that. Due to the white that Arcadia's been using , releasing the fastpacks standalone or bundle up, the end resulting appearance would be the same.

For me I don't really see any issues with the differences in the white coloring of missiles. It's probably better if they don't match because they aren't part of the valk , they are missiles.

Most of those people used EMS or Fedex when they shipped it along with their warehouse stuff . It's only been 14 days so your SAL could take longer , it can take around 30 days some time to time .

It's been like that for most websites when you select a different currency If you select USD , it'll be $116.21 If you select JPY , it'll be 11980 ($110.34, as of 04-12-16) I think N-Y's conversion pricing is very close to if not more than Paypals So if your creditcard doesn't charge conversion fee, you should definitely use that. I only money saving way of using the N-Y's own conversion is if you know the yen is going up and you want to lock in the price that's close to the current rate and would also like to pay later.

The red frame should have no problems getting fill , but the flight unit is another story , heard bandai didn't release a good ratio of flight unit vs gundam. Just Flight unit is over $130 now . -

$117 is a very nice price, i'm surprise it's still available at N-Y. It really makes you wonder if the standalone SAP will show up. Anyone that brought a VF-2SS will most likely want a SAP to armor it up. So the demand for SAP will be there. But then they have 2 products that combo with the SAP in May and June before the standalone SAP (august). If those sales don't do well either, they might not release the standalone SAP at all, which should increase the demand for the 2 combo products,

Seems you ordered a minor box damage 1 for cheaper than normal price and another 1 for normal prorder price but is in back order stage . But then you were lucky and they were able to find a extra for your back order the same day .

That happen to me too on preowned items before. But I emailed them and ask if they can use RSAL shipping on the item since it's small and light. They email me back with the RSAL shipping.. They even help me split up some items to 2 boxes so it can be shipped RSAL instead of EMS when I asked them to.

It's not so much as damage or insurance , it really comes down to just tracking. SAL have no tracking so there are people that take advantage of that and claim they never receive it.

Yup , they sure it. I guess hardly anyone was preordering before due to the high shipping. The price before was 25000 for the monster and the same high EMS shipping of 7000. Now it's 20000 for the monster and 7000 for ems shipping , which make it more comparable to other stores, should even be around the same total price as if you were to preorder it from Amiami. But with Cdjapan you have the option of Canceling your preorders.
