  1. My suggestions are: -Metal BP8s -complete 1/48 Macross deck crew (no cement & painting PLEASE!) -modified perfect grade hands for 1/48 -ultra compact boxes minimal space wastage (packed with valkyrie's wings swept in)
  2. Just enlarge the 1/48, air-brush some weathering details, add microman pilot and retail it at US$600. The Rolls Royce of Macross toys.
  3. They could throw out the weapons controls, the ejection seats and all the other unnecessary gizmos to make room for the other pilot...
  4. How about just buying a fire-proof, flood-proof cabinet? Will it be cheaper than paying for insurance annually? Personally, I think I would rather try to secure the items instead of worrying how to replace them when they are wrecked.
  5. why not have a custom painted 1/48 valk as the RAFFLE prize instead? basing the results on lottery numbers than can be verified online is a good idea. a custom painted 1/48 valk could probably raise up to US$400 in funds, if well painted? As for ticket sales, probably aim for US$500, so that there will be a decent amount left over for site maintainence.
  6. The seat and the canopy can be easily disassembled from the main body. Just unscrew everything.
  7. I concur. Just like the highly detailed inner frame on PG Gundams. Not meant to see the light of day, unless you don't affix the armour.
  8. Is it possible to machine the whole visor out of metal and still retain the hollow barrels? That would be a splendid upgrade option for those who have the stock VF-1S. But it has to be high precision since metal cannot be worked with as easily as plastic. Will it be expensive?
  9. The same can be said for PG Gundam heads, the eyes are just optic sensors, but Bandai still made them with the LED option, this merely increases the display value of the model, haven't you guys seen the lighted eyes of a evil robot, masked in shadows, about to make his kill in anime before? Hell yeah, I want this!
  10. I think this is a fantastic option. If we can have recast heads with LED, and metal head lasers in one package. It's better to get everything with one-stop shopping. Those who don't like it can putty up the thing or have a dummy component inserted to fill up the space. The VF-1S is readily available now, makes the necessity of having straight recast diminished. Having said that, depending on the price of the LED heads with hollow metal head lasers, I'll be up for anywhere from half a dozen to one dozen. Depending on the price. I have 2 dozen VF-1S waiting to be painted. I can't wait till my new job settles down to paint the. Heh.
  11. Are the visors crystal clear and colourless? Is it possible to provide hollow metal head lasers too? Is it a straight recast or will it be modified to allow easy change of batteries? The normal recast heads can be cemented and puttied, this is probably different right?
  12. Booya! I want that too! I want to be moulded into low vis pilots.
  13. No, no, no! IT JUST LOOKS TOTALLY WRONG! Where's the purple? Where are the pink polka dots?! Just kidding. Nice work, Kurt the Kustom.
  14. Muhahahaha! VF-1A in jungle camoflage!
  15. yeah man, metal BP8! I need those low vis pilots! Give me a quotation so I can decide on the amount!
  16. There's some pics here. They look good. They've got more detail than the Yamato 1/48 pilots. 370158[/snapback] The ultimate pilot looks nice. does it fit the Yamato 1/48's? What are TV arms anyway? I kown what the fast packs are, but I never knew the arms were different?
  17. what is the ultimate pilot like?
  18. IT ENDS NOW! The whole lot of you should go out there and buy yourself a Gundam. Or Ten. Forget this place, find your true calling. What are you reading this for?! Shoo!
  19. I'd really like some of the Low Vis Pilot Recasts.
  20. moving parts such as wings and tailfins, parts likely to suffer abrasion from transformation.
  21. Thanks for the compliments guys. I wouldn't have to sell it if I weren't in such dire financial straits. Shucks. I'm quite glad that the new owner promised not to sell him away.
  22. Hey guys, I just took a few more pictures of him with the FAST packs on. I also put him on auction, if you like what I've done, please support. I hope I didn't infringe any rules by providing the auction link, some forums don't allow this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=5990530393
