  1. Ok my mistake the guy I am following was Macrossjunkie not Macrossman, I checked. But I do remember contacting him about a his picture he Photoshoped a 1/48 making a landing at the demolition site for PNC Park in Pittsburgh. I thought he lived there cause that's where I'm from, and I recognized the location.
  2. That would explain why he wasn't active on his flickr account, we were following each other there, and I haven't seen anything new pop up on his account. I think I had sent some invites for some of his photos for my group page, but he hasn't responded to them Geez three years so sad. It makes you think that you may never be promised a tomorrow, any one of could die unexpectedly and our collections could end up in the trash by our loved ones (my sister for example). At least his wife and son put them up for auction knowing others would want them. R.I.P Macrosman.
  3. I don't think there was ever a VF-17 or 171 in 1/72 scale, just the hero VF's from any Macross series and OVA's ranging, from the VF-1 (Bandai Imai), YF-19-21 (Yamato) VF-24-25-27 (Bandai).
  4. Someone PM me when Mirage's Fighter is ready for pre-order I pre-order her figure so it would make sense if she also has her fighter next to her, of course this means something is getting boxed. I already boxed both Max and Millia VF-22S's.
  5. I know it's been a while since I posted the VF-1S Roy promising that I'll have more of it with strike parts on, but was delayed with other things before I had a chance to edit the photos. Was dealing with things with my job getting the fourth model kit done, the Strike Gundam finished. So here they are.
  6. Can the VF-0's hands come off? That is the question, need to look at mine to see.
  7. Well I can say this for Bandai they got the missile coloring right, where Yamato fell short on. And this caught my attention Saburo.Does your Hi Metal VF-1A come with two heads, one for TV and one for DYRL? I noticed that in fighter mode there is only a TV pilot in the cockpit but no DYRL pilot.
  8. I had to take a closer look at that photo, and it did say Macross Rick Hunter not Robotech Rick Hunter. Was that ...ugh I'm not going go into that right now too easy. I pre-ordered her.
  9. I missed that one, but of course the Comic shop here did not order enough, and it went fast before I saw it.
  10. Wishful thinking if he was paying attention to the battlefield instead of making light of Hikaru's love life.
  11. Just got my 3 Blu-rays plus CD yesterday, and watched all three volumes. The first vol. came in a box set to put two more Blu-ray discs in and booklets. The translations were spot on correct, for example; and this also happened of Frontier fansubs. The name Reaction engines was used and not Reflex Engines. Apperently the first 8 episodes I saw on Watchcartoons online were subbed by a guy who watched too much R@*@(#tech who could not tell the difference between the two. The term Reflex came from Mospeada, i.e: Reflex Point which came from that show which was used in the R word show for all three shows. But enough of that here are some screen shot as proof of what I got o n my new TV.
  12. I should have been looking for this thread after those idiots on watchcartoon online failed to upload Ep 17 with eng subtitles, and it was listed as haveing them. Gonna have to check Ami ami and CD japan.
  13. Holy!! It looks that way to you too. I thought it was just cause I had it under my desk light as I finished up on the decals.
  14. So what your saying is that, Yamato got it wrong with their release of the DYRL Valkyries
  15. Hmmm... interesting. But would that bluetac cause problems with the plastic I'm just go right out there and say it "Woo-hoooh ride-em cowboy" Just where did you get the Zentreadi figure from and what scale is it? Three against one? They think this will even the odds against the likes of Max, they're still screwed.
  16. Thank you. Just you wait to see it with the parts on, though I was disappointed that it did not come with a stand that the non strike release came with.
  17. Got mine on Wed, would have came in on Monday, but it was Labor Day so no mail service. Surprisingly for a movie special it surprisingly TV bright white instead of DYRL off white.
  18. Battroid pics. Will have more with the decaled strike parts on.
  19. Cool Glaug you got there derex, but it doesn't seem to running around, but more laying around watching it's exploits on TV from the SDF DVD. Man I'm missing out that is one heck of a beast you got there. Well I finally got my hands on Arcadia's new release of the VF-1S Roy with strike parts. Truth to tell I skipped out on the first release cause they did not re-release the Strike/Super parts when they released the Hikaru 1S and Roy 1S. This is something that they should have done from the start, though I am quite shocked that they used the TV colors instead of the off white DYRL color for the VF-1S Roy Movie version, thankfully the Strike parts remained the same. And to show here are 36 shots of my Roy without the parts on, just decaled the parts on Saturday and the 1S today will take some shots later today.
  20. Well seeing that I have not watched Edisope 4 yet I won't keep looking through this thread yet. Glad Watch Anime Online has it up to four episodes now. Saw the first episode on Youtube interesting.
  21. That's a TV Hikaru 1S, I have both of them, a TV Roy with out Fast Packs, and a TV Hikaru with Fast Packs. Yes they are I was fortunate that we had a guy here that made custom stickers for the 1/60 scale VF-1's. I was disapointed that Yamato decided to downsize the UN Spacy logo, when the DYRL Skull logos were full size
