I wish I loved the DX VF-1 more than I do. It's good... but it still leaves room for improvement and Bandai seems content to ignore the issues. 

I'm going they announce clear parts as an accessory with the regular covers.

Nothing is certain but that was mostly only a problem for the cannon fodder variant.  I'm not expecting it to be an issue.

Damn, still has the stupid wings. If it just came with the hard point wings attached I would never need to swap them.

Afraid I skipped this one since it appeared to be a straight reissue.

Not 1/48, a DX would be 1/60. They displayed it before but maybe that was a 3d print job. This HMR looks easy to go but that doesn't always mean something for Bandai.

That's what I think KitzConcept should do with their vf-1. Give us a Yf-21 and Yf-19 inspired theme.

I have my Revival Renweals (what a name) still sealed next to my desk... I'm looking forward to getting them open. The Yamato V2 1/60 VF-1 is quite a refined piece; it's hard for more complex toys to compete. If it had the metal feet and ball joints of the DX VF-1, I might still prefer the Yamato V2. 

Thanks for the positive feedback and for letting me know about the comment issue. A while ago the site was inundated with bot comments and I tried lots of methods of shutting them down but was unsuccessful. Maybe the plugins are better these days so I just flipped a switch to allow comments. I think each comment should go to a queue and require manual approval. 

If I was them, I'd be expecting limited sales so I would try to keep costs low and not include many extras. I'd make an add-on set to sell separately or include some items with a Dark Legioss to try to drive sales of that bird.

This is all deja vu from years ago when Arcadia sold this exact same toy for the first time.

Does anyone have the new and old Arcadia releases to compare to each other? I just checked my site and I said the red was basically the same as the Yamato so maybe that is a change from the first release. 

Really positive so far. You have the 1/48 Yamato long nosecone issue which comes with the territory. Are you going to be engineering all the joints and transformation mechanisms? I have lots of thoughts on engineering I've been wanting to work on in Fusion 360 but I never have any time

Edit - then easily secure a PO a week later from the WWM release.

Mine looks fine and it's been sitting in it's box with Styrofoam for 99% of it's life, just comes out for photo shoots. This one is definitely prone to yellowing though. It seems it only takes a little sunlight or heat to trigger it.

Yamato sent out replacement wings on the first release when it was pointed out the navigation lights were wrong.

Wasn't there a much better looking cover in the original series?
