Yeah I remember hearing way back when that the new live action series was going to focus on bounty hunters and such...this isn't really new info. Like Agent One I'll wait until more surfaces. -
Guess that boat with the light artillery will never leave port & so much for the Glaug...I'd bet instead of the global economic crisis this one will be blamed on the pirates that sail the South China Sea...

That would have been a really bad way to end it....you completely eliminate the mysticism of the origins of Man by doing that...to quote the original intro which I think was a final nod to that. Besides you wanted something akin to BSG 1980??? There are those who believe that life here began out there, far across the universe, with tribes of humans who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. That they may have been the architects of the great pyramids, or the lost civilizations of Lemuria or Atlantis. Some believe that there may yet be brothers of man who even now fight to survive somewhere beyond the heavens.

Jeeze one random thought by someone turns into all this hype. Robotech is dead, its just been gasping for air since 2001. The only thing keeping it going is the nostalgia many feel for it because it did make an impact. It introduced me to anime and that I will never deny. Sadly there is nothing they can do or will do to ever light that spark again. The small window of opportunity it had was slammed and barred shut with the epic fail that was Boobtech Shadow Branicles. Anyone that believes I'm talking out of my ass please prove me wrong...I mean really the nail in the coffin should be the laughable "new" product they are going to dump on the fans, LLA? Really? Wow...Sayonara no Tsubasa now that's something new and by that I mean to us stateside. The entire Frontier story has accomplished more in 3 years then what HG has done with Rowboatech in 25 years. If HG cannot afford to change shipping companies to bring in their light artillery battlepods what makes anyone think they will actually become financially involved with the production of a new 85 episodes series? How old are these people that are even debating the possibility? 12? Any rational adult would chuckle and move on.

One of the aspects of the game that I had fun with the last day was space. While limited to "tube flying" for the moment its fun to blast away at fighters and capital ships. Especially when you start gearing up your ship. I was able to strafe away at a Imperial transport and knock out all its weapons and engines, it proceeded to list, dip and fall away into the planet's atmosphere Anyone get the invite to download the game before early access?
