  1. Rick didn't see a victim in the hospital, he sees a corpse. The first walker he runs into is the lady outside the park.
  2. There hasn't been anything concrete. Its accepted lore that zombies do eventually decompose completely. However at a much slower rate then a corpse. Apparently also it depends on the condition one is in and the environment the walker is in. A measuring bar might be the first walker Rick ran into. Take a look at the webisodes at the AMC site for more...don't want to go on without spoiling it for you.
  3. Yeah...it was hell...I ground through the JK story and made it to Tatooine....neat twist with Kira. A little disapointed I broke my own rule, but....oh well They did a beta closing dance off in Senate Plaza on Coruscant...yeah if it was a hidden stress test, it failed miserably. 3.0 fps the entire time in that area.
  4. And this is definitely an example of an upgrade from the comic... EXO, that scenario is scary, but we'll need to line up replacements after your massacre lol...
  5. Good to know it wasn't just me lol...thanks for the update
  6. I find it amusing that some people think that mmo’s started with WoW. I've been playing mmo's since UO, and many people will probably agree that everything after has evolved from it. Why? Cause even after the release of games like SWG and WoW, UO is still alive. The graphics being about as outdated as a VCR, you'll find a loyal following. Anyways, from there I played a game that sadly did not last long called Earth and Beyond...only for a few months because it was right before I started testing SWG and played that until just after the JTL expansion...had gotten the invite to beta WoW and was infected with oooh shiny new toy that I had to play. Dropped SWG after WoW launch and for the better I guess considering the CU and NGE killed the game for most everyone I knew. Dabbled a bit with CoH but it never really hooked me. WoW, I had to give up like a bad habit...literally. Got a bit hyped for Age of Conan, even upgraded my PC to play...that was a fail. Then tried LotR and really liked it, but l stopped playing after maxing out my Ranger. In between all that mayhem SWTOR was announced and since I had previously played KOTOR & KOTOR 2...hell yeah! Star Wars geek's dream come true! Subbed and atm continue playing STO and will definitely keep it post SWTOR release. I’ve been in beta since August. And the first thing I noticed was not ZOMG WoW Clone HAXORXZZZ!!! No. What I can say is the game is based on both successful mmo’s from the past and Bioware’s own character design, control and personality. You can enjoy a well-built story that has been developed over a period of 3 years. The gameplay is solid, period. The fact that you don’t have an auto attack or target imo doesn’t hamper gameplay, it adds a challenge. Could it be? A game that’s actually requires a little more key pushing skills???? My xp in beta was fantastic. I have already played through all the classes’ first planet. Basically taking your toon to level 10+ and up to your first flashpoint which is Black Talon for the Empire or Esseles for the Republic. I’ve not wanted to go past level 25 because I really do not want to spoil anymore of the story. However this also proves that even the low level toons are allot of fun to play! Plenty to do and places to go. The planets I’ve been to are HUGE. Balmorra for example seemed impossible to complete cause I kept opening and opening new areas. Oh…and yes…even healer class is fun to play! I’ve never been one to play that class, especially since soloing your quests was frustrating at times. I’ve been more of a ranged dps type or tank kinda player. The social aspect of the game which I’ve seen called “the typical Bioware game feature” is just that and should be considered a plus. What I’d find funny is that if Blizzard began sneaking in something similar in their game, zomg SWTOR Clone!!!!!! So…going back to all this WoW clone wars, sure, go right ahead, but then at the same time, we might as well say this game is a clone of SWG, CoH, E&B, EQ, AoC, GW, FFXI, UO, Eve Online, Wizards 101, Matrix Online, The Sims Online, Second Life….the list can go on and on and what you will discover is that the basic core base of all these games are the same and will continue being the same until gods knows when. Look at this screenshot...ZOMG WoW Clone!!!!
  7. I'd have to say Team Shane too...going back to him leaving Rick. He didn't just ditch him. You guys should recall he stayed there literally until the hospital was overrun. He did his best to plead for him to wake up...and upon leaving he barricaded the door which by all appearances saved Rick when he did wake up. He led the group for many weeks and has been pretty right on with his opinions going back to the get from being against the rescue of Merle & to choosing the CDC over Ft Benning being wrong, the former taking the lives of a few survivors and separating others to go on their own. The latter also costing a life and really not accomplishing nothing more then a delay. And as they have not revealed what the doc whispered...yeah Rick's choices so far haven't been the best. Shane's methods might not be kosher with today's world, but the question, "what would you do?" comes up all the time. Granted this infatuation with Lori will end up being his downfall, but only that. Thought it sucked that Sophia was turned, was looking forward to seeing a parralel to the comic and have her develop a relationship with Carl...so much for that lol...however seeing Rick being the one to take the initiative and shoot her proves Rick can make the tough choices when needed. We'll see him harden more I think from here on out. Finally, reading some of the comments, I'll throw another name in the hat for the "Governor" character...Merle. Think about it...his mentality is similar in the aspect of sadistic and evil. And well...considering his injury...eye for an eye right?
  8. Great ep...next one is the last before the break. Can't wait...
  9. Good ending for Krell...I agree it would have been better if it would have been more along the lines of him fearing the inevitable destruction of the Jedi and not seeking to join the Sith. Fear leader to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering...would have been nice to see Yoda's wisdom shown incarnate.
  10. Just got done seeing it for the second time. Loved it! Really enjoyed the fact it was a continuation of the first movie. Ending similar to the series and leaving open the 3rd film for a completely new story. All the new songs were great and they picked the right mix of older ones to move the story forward. That last was EPIC! how many Macross class ships did we see? 5? 6? Pure awesome. My laptop couldn't hang in some scenes, Brera vs Ozma was very choppy, gotta get to my home PC to enjoy it fully. I'll give it a 5 out of 5 stars. Couple of nods to the original series when Alto was laid out, then again when he was hugging Ranka goodbye. Hello Mac7 facsimile Fire Bomber...and of course Mac+ with the YF-19. Can't wait to see whats next! Oh...this screenshot gave me goosebumps:
  11. My Valk arrived a couple of days ago...sadly I'm still in SC and won't be back home until next Wednesday
  12. This movie has disaster written all over...I'm going to sit back and watch the train wreck.
  13. It sucks that I cant share Macross Frontier with my niece and nephew. My godson loves to see Valks in action he was even emulating transforming from fighter to batteroid with a ETA-2 transformer I got him while watching a VF-25 vid on youtube. My niece literally knows the words to "What about my star"...they are too young to read so it would rock if I can get a dubbed version for them to get into... HG, ruining another generation of kids, one child at a time...
  14. Always good to check the minimum system spec as per Bioware: Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ or better Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz or better Operating System: Windows XP or later RAM: Windows XP: 1.5GB RAM Windows Vista and Windows 7: 2GB RAM Note: PCs using a built-in graphical chipset are recommended to have 2GB of RAM. Star Wars: The Old Republic requires a video card that has a minimum of 256MB of on-board RAM as well as support for Shader 3.0 or better. Examples include: ATI X1800 or better nVidia 7800 or better Intel 4100 Integrated Graphics or better DVD-ROM drive – 8x speed or better (required for installation from physical editions only) Internet connection required to play.
  15. Krell has to go down...he's hard headed fool, who doesn't even fight. A waste of his species in the storyline, 2 dual blades hung there like forks, and the only time we've seen them is killing a pair of native creatures.
  16. "Swooping is bad..." -Alistair, Dragon Age Origins
  17. Looks like next week is a flashback episode. Atlanta gets naped! Also, the barn burner shall commence! Light em if ya got em.
  18. It's a safe bet these calenders haven't been printed yet...saw a POST BY YOU KNOW WHO HEHEHE telling the spanish speakers to send in their country's national holiday so it can be added onto the calender...yeah...must be the whole Mayan calender thing...
  19. Got issues 25-30...series is definitely worth reading. This would be my first comic series collected fully digital.
  20. It wouldn't happen to be this Skull and Bones would it??? hmmmmmmmm
  21. Yeah my dl took an eternity as well...but its worth it!
  22. Yeah thats what had me thinking wtf??? This would be the second time HG short changed the fans in Chile. There was a bit of an uproar when LLA came out, a few down there were like "are they seriously passing off this as something new?" lol
  23. Yeah, this build has been a bit hectic, to say the least. Still though, enjoy your weekend play. Remember the NDA if you guys want to go over the particulars we can start a private convo.
