    Thanks Warmaker, I posted the same questions in a few other forums and that seems to be the concensus, that the Sandies seem to have HORRIBLE weathering and that removale of or painting over the weathering is the way to go.

    Totally Agree about the Snowtrooper. I've always loved them the most out of all the Stormies. Did you ever notice the Snowtrooper commander (the one that Gen. Veers tells "to prepare to debark" his troops) seems to have a solid face mask instead of the cloth one that the others have. Can't wait for the SNOWTROOPER!!!

    Hi all, on another forum I visit, someone got a Sandtroper "Corporal" and the paint job is HORRIBLE!!! Does anyone else have this kit or at least the standard "Officer" version of the Sandtrooper. I was curious if he just got a bad paint job or if the weathering on the Sandtroopers is just not that good.

    He says that he has other Kotobukiya kits and they are fantastic, and I've been planning on getting a few of these kits, including a Sandtrooper, but I just want to make sure that these kits really are as good as they normally appear and that this guy just got a bumb kit.

    Also for those interested Kotobukiya will be releasing the long awaited Snowtrooper in the spring!!!

    Cool!! Now if Yellow Submarine or someone would just release a model of the FFR-31 Sylphid. Has it shown up in any other episode besides episode 1? It's gotta be my favorite aircraft design of all time! Yellow Submarine has postponed it for almost 2 years now. :angry: . I guess that's a sign that it won't be comming out. :( . It did make it to prototype because I remember seeing it here in another thread a few years ago. I found the thread a few days ago but the link to the picture didn't work anymore.

    Yeah, the booklet doesn't even tell you how to delete a song off of the iPod or how to not have ALL songs in your library be loaded on the iPod...even when you don't have them checked! All the manual says is review the users guide on the iTunes CD. <_< . I eventually found out how but you figure they could of at least published that bit of info!! :p

    Thank you Azrael, greatly appreciated! This is probably my only complaint about an iPod...the booklet users guide dosn't giv you all the information. You can get the info off the disk but for those of us that aren't computer savy...ME...it took a little bit to find it!! :p

    Yup, have iTunes installed. Where would I drag and drop to? I tried Cutting and pasting that link they give but that didn't work either. I very well may have put it in the wrong spot though. Do I need anything else besides iTunes or do I need one of those Ipodder or Jpodder things that they suggest in the learn more about podcasting link they provide.

    I have been listening to the podcasts since they have been out. They are great but I've been listening to the separately. I've recently bought an iPod mini but I have no clue how to download the podcasts. Any Help would be greatly appreciated. I tried to follow the instructions as given on the websight but it doesn't seem to work. I tried the IPODDER, and JPODDER sights they listed but when I click on them I have no idea what to do next. Could anyone please help me!!! :(

    One thing thats been bugging me is Boomers "attitude". I've said it before...if not here then in another forum, but I've seen other people say it also. She gets mouthy when someone reacts in a negative way to her. I really want to see someone point out to her that her kind nearly wiped out the human race, and are still trying to, that they are doing medical experiments on some of the survivors, and that they use subturfuge, lies, and sew mistrust in the humans they do interact with. Hell Galactica Boomer thought she was a human and wanted to do the right thing but still unknowingly shot Adama twice!!! So why should the trust her...because she says they can....because she can help....G-Boomer blew up a Baseship for Fracks sake!!!!!! Little good that did. So forgive us if we don't trust you Boomer!!!!

    And Helo!!!!!!!!!! I really use to like that character....but he's becoming a Baltar type character...not evil or anything, just misguided. I understand he is trying to protect "his" child and all but he just eats up everything Boomer has to say, and when he said "I can't believe the old man reacted like that" I wanted to scream!!!! What a dumbass. He'll listen to everything his boomer has to say but not what anyone else is telling him of thier experiences with flesh-bots!! Including what the Boomer he knew for a few years did, and which was the one he probably fell in love with in the first place!!! Oh yeah, by the way....how did he act when he found out she was a Cylon....he ran away and then Shot her when she threw down her gun!!!!! How could the old man react like that my ass. Adama was shot twice so he wants to strangle her. She Fraked you and helped you survive on Caprica and you shoot her, but Adama is overreacting!!

    I really hope they redeem this character, or at least are purposefully making him this way for a specific reason. Otherwise it's just poor writing IMO.

    After this episode I'm pretty sure Dr. Kottle is a cylon. 6's explaination of what she is, is bubkis. Kottle lied or omitted the results to Baltar. He also had access to Adamas Chest cavaty when he was operating on him. He could have implanted something in Adama similar to what Baltar "may" have, which would explain the sudden chest pain Adama got when he was strangleing Boomer.

    I just don't think they explained Six in Baltars head at all. At least in a serious way.

    Agreed, Love the show, but where is the space combat!!!! I've also noticed the change in the Cylons armor. From withstand several rounds from a heavy raider and needing explosive rounds to kill them....to 9mm pistols easily taking them out!

    And Six looked FANTASTIC in those sweats! Best she's looked yet IMO.

    Cobywan is correct episode 10....which really sucks becasuse that'll be the last episode until january 06!!!! :angry: Damn Cliffhangers!!!!! The follow-up episode in Jan. is titled "The Ressurection Ship" I haven't heard much about it but I've read VERY interesting theories based on the title. If you would like to hear read on, again NO ACTUAL spoilers, just speculation..............

    Again this is all speculation with NO confirmed spoilers but some have speculated that the Ressurection Ship is a ship that is carrying Human form Cylons. Starbuck may have been correct when she was interogating Leobin when she said that they are too far away to transmit back into new bodies.So the Res. Ship would enable them to transmit into a new body after they die. If the Colonials could take out that ship, it might make the Cylons chasing them think twice since they really could DIE. Pretty cool theory I thought. :)

    Maybe the Cylons "God" created the human form cylons, but then they decided to kill him or her, in order to make themselves greater or more godlike, like what they did to the colonies, before he/she could create many more copies thinking they were perfect and alive...ie....able to procreate.

    I just got the BBi "marines dream" Corsair. I love it!!! One thing though, I wish the would have stated how to use the Flaps. I didn't know that you needed to pill the flaps back first before lowering them. I don't think I broke them but the do just "hang" there when lowered and aren't very secured. <_< Are all of thier planes like that?

    Next which brand is the best BBi, 21st century, or extreme machines (i think is what it's called...Wal-Mart carries them)? Thanks.

    Fantastic Episode!!!! I wonder how Adama will handel Tigh? Tigh has DEFINATELY burned too many bridges with not only the civilians but the military as well. He needs to be put on ice for a while till he is Sober, and held accountable for his actions.

    I don't think Tigh means to screw up. I actually think he wants to do a good job but is snapping under the pressure.

    His military decisions are sound. Even when hes not fully sobered up he seems to understand the realities of combat. One of the few nice things about Tigh is hes not , as that one episode put it, 'a soft touch' like Adama. Tigh will gladly purge his own men into space to save the ship and not bat an eye about it. I can't see Adama doing it without great reservation.

    They balance each other out, which I think, is how a Captain and his XO should behave. From my experience and time in, a good XO is sort of bipolar. Hes the one to enforce the Captains commands, even if he knows they are wrong, and take the brunt of peoples hate. Thats the XO's job. But hes also needed to help maintain morale and see after his men in a more personal way than the Captain can. Thats the part of the XOs job that Tigh does not understand. Mostly the XO has to serve as a bridge between the Captain and his crew. A good example of a functional XO is Tom Sizemore in Saving Private Ryan. 

    XOs who have been doing it for too long,  by their nature, very rarely make good commanders. Its why modern militaries rarely promote a guy in his own unit without first transfering him to a new unit. Because no one wants an old rapport turning into a command issue. Its a huge issue with modern law enforcement command structures today where transfering out isn't logistically simple.

    Tighs problem is that he has zero diplomacy and zero politcal/people skills. If he was smart, he'd balance himself out with Lee Adama, who is much more of a soft touch and diplomat like his father.

    The writers have made Tigh into a very compelling character. Hes a prick, but hes a loyal prick. Personally I think he'd rather die than fail Adama. I think part of the problem with his dealings with the President and the Qof12 stems from that, Adama wanted that dumb psychic bitch in lockup and Tigh will be damned if anyone says otherwise. Tighs a prick, but chooses his friends and stands by them, thats not such a horrible character trait.

    Tigh strikes me more as Theoden of Rohan from LOTR. A guy who was a failure as a leader most of his life, but will/did rise to the occasion when all was lost. I hope the writers give him a good arc and find a way to make his character more redeeming in the future.

    Totally agree on the XO's responsibilities, just Tigh is definately all about ENFORCEMENT!! :lol: That was actually what Tigh and Adama were talking about in the "33" example I gave. Tigh said that if the XO is not making the "Old Man" look good he's not doing his job. Then Adama said my quote from earlier, that's why I think Adama thinks Tigh goes just alittle too far. But Tigh can certainly pull you through a crisis.
