  1. Depends on the stock of the other items for when I order. You can definitely use a longer bolt on three arms.
  2. I am still fine tuning the hot toys adapter, but it will be available soon. The acrylic dual arms are still sold out, but the printed dual arms, and knuckles work just as well.
  3. Sounds like mine. I would assume the plastic half of the ball joint is glued in place. Do not attempt to splay that leg, or it will most likely pop off. It can be fixed, but be careful.
  4. I am wondering if that is because the 30, or an iteration of it, will show up in Delta. Could be holding back to keep it unsaturated, and than blitz us when the new series launches.
  5. I am pretty sure the comment was in jest, but.... 3d printing is gonna be amazing in 10 years. Some printers can already print with multiple plastics, metal, and rubber. Full color 3d printers have been available for awhile now too.I would buy an assembly kit at half the cost. Hell, I already know how the Zero's leg goes together...
  6. The problem is all of that higher-quality=higher-cost goes out the window when the figure falls apart in your hands.
  7. Do you have the rest of the cockpit, and gullet transformed properly?
  8. Thank's to everyone for your kinds words. I would have rather not had to do anything like this, but hopefully my endeavor may help others.
  9. Always looks way pink-er in photos.
  10. I haven't tried yet, as I have been spending most of my 0A love on fixing the god damn thing......but the shoulders look identical, so I would assume it is good to go.
  11. Re-re-assembled. It is actually holding up better than the stock hip. Sure. $30 a pop. J/K. I'll mail them for the cost of postage. When you have the tools at your disposal, you might as well use them.
  12. I like the proportions. I never had any of the yamato zero's, so I am coming in fresh. Here are a few pictures I took earlier of the pilot, and HUD.
  13. The 3d printed ball works, and there is no longer a gap on the seam of the socket. There is slightly more play in the 3d printed hip than the stock one. I am going to scale it up a few micron's at a time until I am happy with it.
  14. Not going to throw in the towel yet, but I do agree with you. I shouldn't be rolling the dice on a $300 figure.
  15. Leg came off again. I took a close look, and it appears to be a tolerance issue (go figure). The first issue is that the plastic is more than half of the ball. This means that in order to maintain integrity, the socket has to keep the metal half encapsulated, which is less than half of the circumference. If the socket gets too wide, and the shallow equator is exposed, the ball can separate. Low and behold, the plastic on my right hip is too large for the socket causing the socket to be wider than intended. No ball inside: Ball inside: The screw sits behind the ball, so there is no way to tighten down the socket if the ball doesn't fit. I have modeled a slightly smaller ball cap, and printed it out. I will post progress.
  16. I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere with amiami, so I just soldiered forth. I took as much care as I could taking it apart, and it looks perfectly seamless all put back together. Had I not posted pics you wouldn't be able to tell which leg had the issue.
  17. The VF-0A has a 2 piece metal socket.
  18. I am gonna guess friction. It is a pretty malleable plastic.
  19. I wouldn't say I was using any undo force. The plastic portion of the ball was glued into the socket. It was going to happen. So far, so good with the repair. Appears to be holding as intended.
  20. Aisha custom from Macross 30? I would buy it. My daughter's favorite valk.
  21. Be careful with the HUD piece in the cockpit. Mine popped off when rotating the seat. Looks like it should be glued in place, but mine had little to no glue. Easy fix, but come on. This guy is $300.
  22. Sounds like the metal pin is hanging you up. does this pic help?
  23. That is where I will post it, and I'll put a link here. which part of the thigh? That part came apart the easiest for me.
