Yeah, shapeways does all of the printing and shipping for purchases from their site. All I did was upload the model I made.

The only thing I could do about that would be to raise the cost of the part to be higher than shipping .

This is so tough! I have Apollyon, but he is such a fiddly bore to transform he is pretty much a paper weight. Leaning heavily towards DX9, but both of the new 3rd party Megatron's look like so much fun to transform! -
Printed plastic is far more flexible compared to acrylic. The acrylic would have very little give. The profile of the "hooks" were just free hand scribbles. Any suggestions on 1/6 blank bodies I should get? Particular brand? Male/Female?

Keep an eye out over the next few months. More pre-orders will inevitably show up. You can also wait until release. They are often available on the same sites after all of the pre-order stock is filled.

Anyone else think that video was a little.... half-assed? I mean, glad there is one at all, but they showed the bare minimum of the transformation on what looks like an early test-shot. Compare that to the Vf-19 one. https://youtu.be/fr1XMwjZVnE Hopefully all is good, and there isn't anything they are trying to avoid. Still gonna try and get one on pre-order day. Just seems odd.
