    1/35 Vf-1

After talking to nightmareB4macross (alex), the kit can be made, but it will depend on how many people we can get to commit to buying a kit? I am looking at the price range of 200.00 for the kit, it may be alot less or more, it depends on the amount of people who will buying one. This poll is to guage interest and from there we will see. list will start here: 1. Die, Alien Scum! 2. THOR (2?) 3. Sdf-1 4. RT junkie ? 5. darklord4 6. ChaosWarrior
  2. Updated pictures with more detail, the detail isn't that bad 1. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j75/Tread72/DSC00001.jpg 2. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j75/Tread72/DSC00002.jpg 3. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j75/Tread72/DSC00007.jpg 4. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j75/Tread72/DSC00008.jpg 5. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j75/Tread72/DSC00009.jpg 6. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j75/Tread72/DSC00010.jpg
  3. nice kit bro, is that yours? If so maybe we should have a 1/20 scale recast project.
  4. I bought two of them, not to bad for a 1/48 scale kit, I thinkthe matchbox robotech hover tank is suppose to be the same scale as this kit. Very simple kit to put together, but you have very limited movements or positions in the joints, kinda like the old staright arm GI Joes.
  5. Guys, I don't have to keep it on ebay, so you don't need to get mad ( HWR MKII ). If you guys want to recast it, then pm me with a plan and lets go from there. I am not here to bleed every freaken penny out of people, I don't mind helping my fellow MW brothers out. Its not a big deal, come up with a plan, let me know and we can go from there! PM me
  6. okay, bought it, way to big for my taste and display case, my three year old would kill it if it wasn't in a case. He has been eyeing my 1/60's and 1/48 yamatos. I just want to sell it to a macross fan, who knowa, maybe someone would give it a good home, otherwise I will just sit on it, Like I have all my other rare kits, boxed up collecting dust. I don't know how to recast otherwise I would offer it to the my fellow MW bothers. Its a real nice kit, but all my kits are 1/72 and I have nothing in a 1/35 scale. since there was only 10-20 kits made world wide, I am sure it would make a good collectors item.
  7. Hi guys just bought this wonderful rare RSB kit, its 1/35 scale and it makes my 1/48 yamato look a little small. Enjoy the pictures.
  8. Here are some of the pictures I have on the two kits that I have in my collection.
  9. can this work on the microsoft flight sim 2004? I am new tot he flight sim world, so please excuse em if I sound ignorant to flight sims
  10. Hi all, I wanted to thank everyone who has built these awesome resin model kit, they are awesome and they are keeping the macross interest alive. I have been thinking of making my own kit, I have no talent in sculpting or making kits out of resin. But what I have are a lot of idea's. I have been reading a lot of articles on the internet on how to, so maybe one day I can start. I have built custom turbo kits for various different cars, I learned from others on what to do and studied the basic of Air/ Fule ratio's. compression ratio's, timing and working stand alone engine managment system. I am not a mechanic nor am I an engineer, but what I am is someone who like to go fast. That being said, I have idea's of making custom macross, mospeada, sothern cross, M zero and other kits that are not offered in the macross saga. One example is a 1/48 scale YF-19, convert it into a RF-4E type recon type aircraft, that is a two seater with a different canopy. Anyways to make a long story short, I wanted to start group topic on: 1. Is there any part time school classes you can take, for example in sculpting? 2. Are there an good resources for a step by step guide? 3. What are the basic equpiment that one needs to buy befor one begins? 4. What are the do's and don't? 5. I recently got involved with a the BMW 850 group up here in the PNW, (washington state ), B.C area and found out there are like 52 to memebers that get together twice a year or whenever someone needs help on car problems. to mak this short also, are there any types of model making clubs are MW memebers willing to get together to help with projects? Maybe we can start a MW members and split it up into regions? I would love to see how many members are in the Seattle, WA and Vancouver, British columbia area. I have a real interest in learning how to make custom resin kits, I would love to get as good as the rest of the master model makers. I do believe in these following words and I hope there will be others to follow me in on this, because macross is something wonderful and fun to collect and be a part of. "Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it." Hope I didn't bore you guys. Bob
  11. I am still waiting on the final word if the samples or done or not. I have a 1/48 scale YF-19 and 21, if this project is not a go and someone wants to have a go at it, maybe we can workout something. Vice, I have never recasted anything yet, but am willing to give it a try, I am slowly reading articles and trying to figure out the best tools to buy, I might be willing to do it myself. I am a amatuer but, all these kits that have began to be made has motivated me in trying to help all our fellow macross brothers in bringing more kits out. I will keep everyone updated.

  14. I am a MS 2004 flight sim fan, didn't someone make a flyable YF-19 for that sim?
  15. I have a 1/48 scale YF-19 and would like to re-do the cockpit canopy, can anyone suggest a clear plastic that I can use with a heat gun to make a clear mold that isn't to thick , but still isn't thin, I am sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am just getting into resin kits, so please help., thank you Bob
  16. not sure yet, it all depends ont he amount of people we get to show interest.
  17. when will you be taking payments, I have been saving up for the 2 kits for a while, man they look awesome, I just hope someone will make the 1/72 destroid phalanax unit and others.
  18. update: I think we can make the fold booster and weapons, might be able to get a VF-11 but not sure, it all depends on how much interest we can get.
  19. Hey bro, I will address these points and get back to you, well if these come out well and there is an interest in the VF-11, than it can become a reality. Lets see how these go.

  21. Hi guys, I know I had a group buy already posted, but I have been approached by a fellow MW member on the chance of making a detailed 1/48 scale YF-19, YF-21 and YF-22 kits. Here are some of what detail: - reworked bodies to be even for all pieces (originals are off!) - reworked fitting so no gaps or holes or thin areas - body will be hollowed cast to keep material usage down, keep weight down for shipping and to keep cost down. - clear resin canopies to be cast for all - cockpit will be detailed up ala 1/48 Ultimate VF-1 - bodies will be detailed up with new panel lines and details ala Hasagawa levels of details at minimum - pilots to be sculpted - high cast resin will be used in pressurized casting process - white metal landing gears all around - detailed water slide decals to be provided - white box for mailing options based on demand and pricing (note all of this will affect the production) - Photoetch to be made for more details OR even better, the masters will be photo etched detailed for certain parts prior to casting. This Photo etch will be newly made. - removable and openable panels ala 1/48 Ultimate VF-1 include engine compartment details and whatever official line art we have. All new sculpting. - VF-22S option to be sculpted - canopy and revised underside for the YF-21 kit. If someone has these 2 pieces to lend, I can include it in the YF-21 kit so you can build either version. Design and engineering is underway right now. Once the sculptor has the design finalized, sculpting will begin on the masters and ETA at BEST is June. I\'m guessing July for the first one, and August for the 2nd one. We need about 20 people to show interest in order to get the kits, or we need 20 of each kits sold, this way people will not have to buy the set, they can buy one if they like. So I will be starting a list of people who are "interested" in getting the kits made, and then once we get into production, then we will transfere the list into a "buying" list. Thanks Bob
  22. lol...didn't know, thanks for the update....lol
  23. make mine 2 also, not 1. thanks, this kit is turning out better than I could imagine.
  24. capt. I don't want one of each can you just make them both standing. Also when will the add on weapons to the regualt be made?
