Help me I just dropped nearly $40 on eBay buying HO scale buildings. Cheap unpainted 3rd printed ones made by a Chinese company called Outland Models. I just keep seeing pictures posted in this topic and looking at my Hi-Metals in a bare glass Detolf case. Then I think I need some scenery.

I'm not sure if they are the best Macross toy line ever. They're the most versatile Macross toy line ever. They're at the perfect scale to allowed a wide variety of mecha of various sizes at reasonable prices.

They need to make some new power armor for this toy line.

And we have a break. One of the pegs broke on my Glaug's stand.

Got my VF-1A. Was a bit trickier to transform with the head. Shoulder cover was cool. Wish it came with a stand.

Well my VF-1A is in town. Instead having it go from the airport post office to a central post office and then to my nearest post office they sent it to an additional post office. Causing another delay. Guess it will come tommorrow instead of today.

I don't want accessories. I want more actual toys.

After 18 days being stuck in Japan my VF-1A has cleared customs. Last few times I ordered SAL shipping took less than 15 days including weekends.

I want them to have a great idea or just any idea. You know an actual story to tell. Then present it to an audience in a Macross style package. Delta had no story. It was just a paint by numbers anime series and they couldn't even get that right. They need to have a story to tell.

Well Hikaru shipped. Sal registered just like VF-1A which had a head start but spent 10 days stuck in Japan. I'll see who makes it here first.

Alright Hikaru been paid and now waiting for 1 VF-1A & 1 VF-1J to be delivered. Only preorders remaining are on the newly weds. Better start showing us some preorders for Destroids and more enemy mecha.

Now waiting for HLJ to ask payment for the VF-1J. and still waiting for VF-1A to arrive state side.

10 days and my VF-1A is finally clear to leave Japan. This has been my longest wait just to get to this point.

My VF-1A shipped on the 1st and no status updates. Would like to know what country it is in.

Story we should have gotten was the one they showed in all of the flashbacks. Those parts seemed much more interesting. -

I hope it just a moderate success. Enough to warrant more Macross down the road but not enough to warrant a Delta copy cat series. -

We've talked about this several times before. One camp sees the flashback as literal retelling of the event and the other camp sees as something more surreal open to interpretation. Then both camps try to convince the others that they are right. No one ever succeeds in doing that. Everyone has a strong opinion on this and things get really heated. Closing this topic just to maintain the peace. -
Got the Shipping notice from AmiAmi for the VF-1A. Using SAL so it will take a bit to get here.

A movie at this point means either 2 things. 1. An admission that the series was a mistake and now they are being jerks by making you pay to see a movie version that fixes their mistakes. 2 They want you to suffer some more. -

Now what you've all been waiting for my opinion! I've been very busy and just took a break to watch this last episode. I'll only give negative or neutral votes with this series. I kind of liked this episode and gave it a neutral. This decision was based only episode 26 episode alone. It felt like good ending meant for a different series than the one I actually watched. Episode 26 was clearly based of all the forced and badly introduced plots introduced in the 2nd half. It was an okay episode but when I judge along with the rest of the series I have to be harder on it. If they did a better job on the 2nd half I would have cared more for the characters involved. I found all the Windermere plots uninteresting. Roid vs Keith had no meaning for me. Walkure saving Mikumo had no meaning either. The first episode introduced us to the 3 leads. The stage throughout the series should have been their's. I would have preferred that Freyja's power of love (ugh) only freed Hayate. Then as the sole hero fueled by Freyja's song he alone went to challenge Roid. It would have been a better ending if he saved the day. Now to the dumb stuff. Nothing about Lady M. Why waste time talking about her if there's isn't going to be a pay off? Oh look more naked floating people in dream land (ugh). -

Still haven't watch it but since I'm here and waiting for something I think I'll share a theory. There was never a love triangle. It was always Freyja and Hayate. It just took Hayate a bit longer to realize it. Mirage's interest in him has more to do with over coming her own fears and insecurities. She has legacy to uphold but knows she isn't that good and has to work hard at it. Hayate represents a carefree happiness that she wished could have. That's why she's drawn to him. Being around Hayate made Mirage a better person. She doesn't need to be with him. At least my theory. I might change my mind after watching the episode.
